This is now called the Night Owl Urgent Care. I took my elderly dog there today. It was a great experience. The doctor explained everything and different prices were given, cost varied, prices are based on how I depth you want my animal treated. The options were explained thoroughly, which made me very comfortable at making a choice based on my financially situation and what I thought would be best for my dog. If you have kept your pets to the senior age before you know it's expensive. I consider what I paid very reasonable on the service rendered

I took my dog there this past week for an urgent care situation. She was very ill, vomiting right after drinking water, dehydrated, not eating, and showing no interest in things around her. This all after snatching a piece of table food a few days prior, causing her to almost immediately start coughing and vomiting, which I made clear to the doctor. She mis-diagnosed her with pancreatitis when in fact she had the signs and symptoms of aspirated pneumonia. My baby has now passed as we waited in the parking lot of another veterinarian hospital. I was told her condition should not be a result of the diagnosis previously given. This office/doctor did not listen to me and obviously rushed her out to move on to the next patient as they were busy. I paid over $600 for an urgent visit, blood test, anti-nausea and pain meds when in fact she needed a strong antibiotic. I am heartbroken and angry!!!!!! She still had so much life in her prior to this. I gave 2 stars only because the young lady taking the phone calls and text correspondence was extremely nice. Otherwise it would have been no stars!! Do NOT take your fur babies here! Devastated and heart broken family.....

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. My cat has a urinary tract infection but before I knew that they told me I had no other option but to put my cat down & that there was nothing they could do. I was in tears and my cat is only 3 years old. I got a second opinion and they gave him meds and he is all better now. I don't know who licensed these vets but i am glad I got a second opinion from my family vet. I will drive to LaPort to their emergency vet before I go back there. They also held my cat hostage for 3 hours and wouldn't let up talk to the vet them self.

My cat had a kidney stone I think which was blocking his pee so the vet said he could die if he didn’t stay the weekend and it would cost $1500 so we decided humanly to put him down if it only could have waited for the vet office in the morning maybe we would still have my cat. It’s ridiculous and the clinic doesn’t give you financial options it’s really life or death and death is also going broke. I’d give anything for my cat the world was against him because he had a deformed arm but loved life and now he is gone because it was too expensive. Screw that clinic

Absolutely horrible place to take your loved ones. I've had two experiences here, both awful. they're very unprofessional and only care about the money. My first experience was with my dog in March earlier this year. His stomach had twisted So we had to rush in there in the middle of the night. between the time we got there and the time he was in surgery it was probably 1 hour. they wasted 30 minutes making me an estimate of what it was going to cost when I told them I don't

We sat in the parking lot for almost two hours with our two senior dogs who were in pain and bleeding. They never got seen. I took them home, gave them some pain medicine and will take them to their regular vet in the morning. I am a nurse with vet tech training.

The care my cat got was great and the staff and doctor were so nice. This is why this review is three stars. If I had to rate the clinic's set up, it was negative stars. The administration/organization of this clinic is horrible. In COVID, you can't go inside into the clinic. You come with your animal and wait in the car. You call them to check in. This would be fine if they had technology that actually worked and They really, really need to get a new phone line. The line rings busy if the staff is on the line; you just need to keep calling until you get lucky enough that someone answers. This can take 15 minutes, and it's just a rush to check in against all other callers--even if you got there first. The wait wasn't horrible; it was 45 minutes. I brought my kitty up to the side and dropped him off. I then waited to hear from the doctor. They called me when they were conducting the medical exam and they told me what was wrong. That was about 30 minutes after he went in. The doctor recommended some medicine and that was it. The doctor said I would be out within a matter of minutes, so I decided not to leave and waiting in the parking lot. I got a call regarding payment about 15 minutes later and gave my CC information. I assumed again that they were running my card and it would only be a matter of minutes before my cat was in my arms. I was pleased and hoping to take my kitty home, as he was very scared and in a lot of pain. I knew that they needed to prepare some of the medications so I gave them time. Fastforward 1.5 hours. I finally call the clinic to see what's going on. I still don't have my cat (who is probably terrified). The staff hadn't yet run my invoice, and they were still "processing" my card. It doesn't seem like this is their fault because I think there might just be two people running the entire operation. The clinic needs to hire more people to help out the staff. However many people they have now is clearly not enough and their technology is super outdated. While I was pleased with the medical exam and care we received, the experience was SUPER negative because of these administrative problems.

Cannot rate low enough cold callus uncaring staff long excruciating waits with no condolences or compassion shown for an owner in an emergency situation. Go somewhere else Grand Rapids or Indianapolis if you have to. The drive time will be made up in wait time.

I understand it is a holiday weekend and they were very busy, but I am very disappointed. I took our 2week old kitten, I found her on the side of the road and she was in rough shape, in this morning because she got very weak and wouldn't eat. It's a 30 minute drive for me, but I thought that it was worth it for our dying kitten. I called and got her checked in, she told me how much it would be and that she would call me when she was ready for us. I waited about 30 minutes and hadn't heard anything so I headed home because she needed help and I couldn't help her in the car. She was very close to passing and it was going on 2 hours of not hearing anything from them. I finally got a call as our kitten was struggling to breathe and the lady on the phone was very rude! I explained that my kitten was pretty much dead and she had no sympathy at all. We tried to give her water and tried to get her to eat but after about 5 hours of struggling she passed away. It was very hard to watch and very emotional as there was nothing I could do. Again, I do understand they are busy but I shouldn't have had to hold my dying kitten and not have anything else I could do for her. Only giving one star because I can't do none.

I had brought my pet there to get checked out because she was hit by a car and thought since they were a animal emergency clinic that they would help, well they wanted three x-rays which is $100 each plus the initial cost to walk in the door which is $120 and then extra costs for medication which is fine so we had to wait in the car because of COVID-19 upon waiting hours they never called us back and our pet ended up passing away, so we drove an hour back home. The next day we get a voice mail from the humane society that says that "I've been informed you have a dog it's been hit by a car unable to walk you need to cal me at ----because if you don't get that animal care that is considered neglect an animal cruelty and that is now a felony in the state of Indiana um so you need to give me a call back so we can get this care of thank you." MY PET PASSED AWAY IN THERE PARKING LOT BECAUSE THEY NEGLECTED TO HELP US IN A TIMELY MANNER THOUGH THEY KNEW SHE WAS HIT BY A CAR AND NOW THEY THREATHEN US.

Took my baby there on Thursday, he was in terrible pain. They didn’t give me any proof to their answers. Said it was a bladder obstruction, however they did no X-ray, or ultrasound to find this out. Just trusted their hands. They wanted 2,000$ for treatment ... or my other option was to put my baby down

My daughter and I tried to take her dog there 04-10-20. to get her euthanized . They denied her service. she was suffering and they turned they backs on her. Why call yourself an emergency veterinarian clinic then to allow a animal peace in there dying day. There a bunch a bunch of fake animal lover. It took Western Veterinary to help her . She is now resting in Doggy Heaven. # Western Veterinary Clinic. 25190 State Rd 02 46619.

I can't say enough good about this place. We had to use it last night for the first time, Someone tried to poison our German Sheppard. The vet got her in quick and they let us know exactly what was going on and what they were doing. Every person I spoke with on the phone was super pleasant. Seriously thank you guys! You saved my baby!!

the waiting room had 2 other people in it & it still took 3 hours to get in . the place had only 2 vet rooms open, and the vet took 30 minutes to get in . after she finally came in, she prescribed medicine for my sick dog & that took 20 minutes in itself . they are way overpriced & their service is terrible . i'm only rating 1 star because you can't rate 0 stars . i would not recommend this place to any one .
