The sales manager Drew took matters seriously and is willing to work with a few concerns related to my last purchase. Didn't think I would get a call back changed my review to 4 stars due to the fact that a personal call and solution options were prompt and professional.

I go here often for service and a worker, Johnny Courtney helped me out big time and was able to get my tire fixed when others wouldn't of been able too. I appreciate the outstanding customer service from him. Thank you.

I dropped my truck off for a check engine light on a Monday. The service representative was not very informative of anything going on. I had to constantly call about what was going on with my vehicle. Couldn’t no one really tell me anything other than they are still working on it. I go to retrieve something I needed out of my truck and my truck wasn’t even in the service bay. It was in the back storage gate. Then I found out that they only have 2 diesel mechanics and 1 was on vacation. I needed my vehicle to get back and forth to work. They had my vehicle 2 and a half to 3 weeks and couldn’t get me a loaner vehicle which is a very big problem for having my truck that long was an inconvenience. I should have been given a loaner vehicle with no questions asked for as long as they had my vehicle no excuses. I am very disappointed about the service at Gates Chevy World

I visited Gates to fix a recall on my blazer. Check in was quick and efficient. Mark drove me to and from my work, while I was waiting. He was an excellent driver and arrived right on time to pick me up. The checkout process was quick and efficient also. My car was ready in the stated time frame and I was on my way.

Had the absolute worst experience here so... let's begin! I initially brought my diesel truck here for a check engine line and they were indeed able to fix my problem free of charge since it was covered under manufacturer warranty. Great so far right? Well this is just the beginning, my husband wanted them to install an airbag suspension on our truck to distribute weight evenly. JJ told me that he would take care of us and to call him if we had any problems or to make the appointment for said installation, so I did call and he told me to come in on a Wednesday. Wednesday comes and I take the truck at the time he had told me too, I get there and I am met with Chris who for starters couldn't find me in the system. Second, he said that JJ NEVER made the appointment and that he was out sick with Vertigo. I am already annoyed but it got worse when he said that he had no idea what the appointment would have been for, proceeds to get in touch with JJ (I was standing in front of him when he made said call) it seemed per Chris talking on the phone, that JJ had no idea who I was and why I was there (he was confused i guess) Chris then tells me to leave my truck there and they will do an inspection to see what the heck I was talking about, and then proceeds to say it will be $79 and I was like okay whatever (it ended up being free per the hassle) Chris calls me after a few hours and tells me that they will indeed be able to do what I am asking for and that I had 2 options: 1 manual for around 1k and 1 automatic for 3k. I talk to my husband about it and he decides to go for the more expensive option. I then ask him when could it be done and how long would it take them to install it (pay attention here) he said just give us a few days and we will order the parts for you and then install it on your vehicle. Due to wanting to give the parts the appropriate time to arrive, I made the appointment for the following Friday. Friday comes, Chris isn't there but JJ is. I get there and JJ says that he is shocked that Chris didn't help me and I explained to him that Chris called him to let him know the problem and he denied it happened. Okay whatever, then i tell him what i am there for and guess what? Chris NEVER ordered the parts, and wait there is more... JJ told me to leave and he would get to the bottom of it. He said he would call me that same day and he never did. I had to text his number that connects directly to his computer and he answered me saying THEY DON'T ORDER THOSE PARTS AND CAN'T DO IT FOR ME UNLESS I BRING IN THE PARTS! I then asked him if he could kindly send me the link to said parts so i could order them since he had shown me what parts they were but I didn't get the name of the website and guess what? NO response... I am appalled by this treatment we received, I believe we weren't taken seriously and my husband even took off work to bring the truck all the way over here to be met with such unprofessional treatment. Unfortunately because of this, we will not be doing business with this location anymore.

I took one of my trucks in for an airbag recall. Everyone in the service department was ok.I'd been thinking about selling this vehicle, so I sat down with Glen Walton to talk about if they'd be interested in purchasing the truck. It is because of Glen that I will never set foot on a Gates' lot ever again. He told me that I was wasting his time because I wouldn't agree to sell the vehicle to them BEFORE they offered me a price. How can I do that when the terms of the sale haven't been agreed upon? Very hard sell. Very confusingly hostile. I don't understand why anyone would want to treat a customer like this but since that time whenever someone mentions buying a car or asks about car lots I make sure to tell them that they should definitely avoid Gates because they're the worst.Also, it's pretty trivial compared to everything else, but: Glen said if I sold them the vehicle he would have a check for me in 7 to 10 days (and didn't pass up on the opportunity to respond in a dismissive and offensive manner when I expressed my thought that this time frame seemed a bit long). The dealership I did sell the truck to had a check ready for me the very next day. Gates is the worst.

I received outstanding superior customer support from Miguel and Mr. T. I woke up last Wednesday and decided to go to Gates and look at their cars. Never in my wildest dreams would I believe I would be returning home with a new car. Miguel worked to the point of exhaustion to get me the price I required. God is good and Miguel and Mr. T are two of his angels posted up at Gates.?? ?

Took my car here to have the tcm programmed told me it would be exactly $150 they didn’t even fix my car and tried telling me it would be $300 manager started arguing with me luckily I only had to pay for what we agreed on. If you tell a customer 1 price but have to put more work in it than what you agree upon you call the customer first to ask them if they would like to go further since you have to do more diagnosing period!!

My wife was in Mishawaka visiting family when the fuel pump went out on our Buick. We had it towed to Gates on Saturday. My wife spoke with John in the service department. She explained that she needed to be back in Kansas City on Tuesday at the latest for surgery on Wednesday. He assured her that they could make that happen. They absolutely made that happen and took very good care of her and communicated every step of the way. Thank you so much everyone.
