My wife took her car in to have the belt tensioner fixed which they did. Then Emily came up with alls of other stuff that was "wrong" with the car. They said it needed transmission oil pan asap because hers was all rusted through. Said it was leaking engine oil around the seals. Said the front boot was ripped. Said the brake caliper was sticking. Took the car in for warranty work and had all these checked out by another local auto place.
Pan is just fine...has some surface rust only
Seals...they are just fine and the car isn't leaking oil at all
Front boot...not ripped and is just fine
Brake caliper... just fine..brake hose had collapsed
I feel like G&S is trying to take advantage of women to get them to spend more money.
There is no trust when I feel like they were trying to scam us.
Will never go back. This never happened when Shelia and Gary ran the shop. Women could trust they were being taken care of but not anymore
G&S has lost our business for good.
Zolmans could have agreed with G&S and made money as well but was honest and said everything was fine.

My car wouldn't start and I had the check engine light on. Took it to here where my cousin, Bowen, works. Him and his boss worked on my car and kept me updated on everything going on with it during the week they were working on it and is even looking for a replacement engine for a future installment. They show to care about their customers

G&S is run by Sean and Emily, a brother and sister team who run the shop like a finely tuned automobile. They are professional and efficient. And I don't like than that, they are honest. They will tell you what is wrong and how to fix it and nothing more. They will tell you what you need to do and what you can delay for a period of time.
They have helped us countless times and we will never use anyone else!!!

Told a price($250-300) to find an issue with our car diagnose. Then asked for more time after 2.5wks of "looking" for issue and we declined. Picked up the car and told it could be this, this, or this but we need more time but right now it's almost $600 for time! I DO NOT RECOMMEND they charged us for looking which we had no issue with but not $600 for looking and not told ANYTHING to be fixed. Especially when we were told before hand a price to diagnose and then another when we denied more time at pick up!RESPONSE:The fact that you just basically rewrote the invoice that you had gave us is you trying to justify to the Google review world. But the fact is when I called you and asked you for a price to diagnose an issue with the car you gave me a price! Once you reach that amount you should have done the respectful thing and called and told us you're at that $250-300 amount that I had gave you to diagnose the car would you like to go further or what would you like to do? But you chose not to and take advantage of the situation charging $120 an hour which got to the point of almost being $600 with no answers and I don't know why you mentioned the freon because that was a whole $9! Again the fact is you took advantage of a situation because you told us a price that we were okay with and I stated that to you and once it got to that point you should have been respectful and reached out and said it's over that amount what would you like to do but you did it that's the reason for your review.
