Attended a wedding here. Great venue. 150 guests and plenty of room. The staff were efficient, attentive, and friendly. The food was very good. Bathrooms were clean. Overall, it was a very nice experience.

I went to Chickory Cafe of Mishawaka today. I ordered a sandwich, drink and cheese and Mac. I couldn’t stay to eat. The bugs/ large gnats, were so bad, I had to leave. I tried switching tables to the other side of the dinning room, thinking if I get away from the soda fountain it would be ok.
That didn’t change anything the gnats were just as bad on that side.
Needless to say that totally grossed me out. I had to ask the staff for to go containers. The staff was very kind and helpful.
Now that I’m home with my food, I’m wondering how the kitchen staff is dealing with this problem. Sitting in the dinning room was unbearable. I had to constantly swat at gnats trying to land on my food. So if the dinning room is this bad, what’s the kitchen like. I have to throw this food out.
Huge waste of money, very disappointed

We held my daughter's wedding shower in the meeting room at the event center. Everything was ready on time and the food was delicious! My only concern is that the room really isn't big enough to accommodate 25 guests comfortably. It was a bit crowded, and the a/c didn't seem to be working (I realize a technical difficulty such as the a/c is beyond the facility's control) or there were just too many people in the room. Other than that, it was excellent! I recommend Chicory Cafe and Event Center for your future event, whether it's in their ballroom or the meeting room. The Cafe is amazing too!

We had our wedding reception here almost 2 weeks ago and it was great! Julie was easy to work with and everything seemed flawless! Everyone had a great time and said the food & drinks were great. The staff took good care of our guests and I’m sure our wedding will be one to remember. Thank you so much to the team at Chicory!!! I would recommend for weddings and any events you may need a space for.

My daughter held her wedding reception here, and Julie and her staff were outstanding! They took care of every detail so that we could relax and enjoy the evening. We are very grateful for all of their hard work and dedication.

The Marian High School Class of 1972 held its 50 year reunion at the Chicory Event Center on Aug 13, 2022. The venue is beautiful and the food was fantastic! Julie and her team were very accommodating and flexible in working with us on all aspects of planning the event and making sure everything went smoothly that evening. Everyone in attendance was impressed by the quality of the facility and I would certainly recommend Chicory to anyone planning a wedding, reunion, or other event in the future!

Went to a wedding here and the service and space was great. I would love to return. Bathrooms and event hall were clean. Plenty of space for entertaining. Both the ceremony and reception was in the same space.
