We have stayed at this hotel 3 times, on this last occasion they charged us $30 for early check in, something they did not do the previous 2 times. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds, one of the beds had a horrible noise as soon as I got into bed.The breakfast is extremely basic, and in our case, we stayed from Tuesday to Sunday, during the week there were almost no guests and therefore they neglected to have the breakfast station stocked. The positive point of this stay: The pool was working and clean.Definitely, for us, it is the last time we stay there!

We had a nice stay here. The room was super clean and comfy. They even left us a note welcoming us in the room. Will definitely be returning.

The room smelled of smoke , you can not open the window. Service of check in was quick. Location good, but room smelled of smoke and marijuana. I tolerated it. Have friends that do. But the cigarette smell was bad.Noteworthy details: Comfortable room big screen TV, was nice . It was cold in the room. Breakfast was ok, food needs to be alot warner than it was. More of a selection as well. Like some fruit you can see in the dish and not have to look for it, more yogurt flavors, and stocked up, French toast sticks should be put in a toaster over not in the microwave, they don't stay hot or even warm . The pancakes were good just not hot. Sausage was cold . More of milk wasn't stocked enough for a bowl of cereal. No bread for toast and no bagels , there was cream cheese tho maybe add some Danish. Like cheese Danish , raspberry Danish, coffee cake Danish. Make sure they have strawberry cream danish. Spice it up oatmeal variety.

The hotel was old and not very clean! The carpet looked dirty. So was the elevator. The entire hotel looked outdated and not well maintained. However the front desk staff was kind and courteous.

The drawers in the room wouldn't stay closed. Bad furniture. Amenities such as coffe pot and microwave were not plugged up and the microwave had to be moved to a different location to plug it up. Service was fair but we did have an issue with use of the pool due to chemical shock that really should be done during normal closing hours for the pool not during the time that guest who paid for a room could be using. Also the main reason we chose this hotel was for the hot tub shown in the pics but is no longer there. Those pics should be removed to avoid false advertising.

stinks bugs in the middle of winter and chewed up bread by the bed, unclean and not vacuumed, new hair stains all over the room with questionable stains on the couch. let’s also add the used qtip behind the couch, and a hair clip wedged into the bathroom counter. when finally finding all of these, and as we were leaving the receptionist was quite persistent on changing rooms. is this really what hotels are becoming? disgusting. checked in at 1pm out by 6pm.

Shows there is a hot tub which was one of the reasons we chose to stay here. They DO NOT have a hot tub! It's taken a part sitting behind the hotel. Hotel needs updates & work. Wasn't the cleanest place either. Breakfast wasn't impressive either. They didn't have most of the items at 6:30am as they had posted that was available on the board. Garbage can was heaping full for 2 days in front of hotel.

This hotel was OK in terms of the fact the room was clean and quiet. However, the rest of the hotel was just really tired. Needs a complete overhaul. Breakfast was not really edible - a bunch of processed food and sugar if you’re into that.

It was ok. We needed a handicapped accessible room, and it worked for us. The room was nice & clean. My disabled wife needed a few extra pillows to raise her upper body... I was told "they didn't have any", which I thought was kinda weird as I'm quite sure that the hotel was nowhere near full that night. The only other negative is that it's a few miles off of I-90, with no food nearby that was within a walkable distance. But - the tradeoff with that is that this hotel is in an exceptionally quiet location.

The 1 star review is specifically due to the front desk check-in employee. If I were rating this hotel without considering him, it would be 3 stars. It is not conveniently located off the highway, it is quite a distance and you have to backpedal. Why it is getting 1 star: apathy and a complete lack of knowledge of the rooms. We were checking in with a pet (which he knew as he asked and we paid the pet fee) and got placed on the 2nd floor. Firstly, they actually had a sign (pictured) that said pet rooms were 119-123, as often as possible. Now, before you say the rooms were completely full, the parking lot at 5 am had 15 cars - that's not even enough to fill the first floor. Secondly, when questioning the front desk employee about why we weren't in one of the pet rooms, we were met with a blank stare and "you're in room 201, take the elevator up." ???? He couldn't have cared one bit about it and his general apathy was absolutely infuriating. The reason it gets 3 stars: the rooms were quiet, there was carpeting throughout, the beds were more plush than the last 2 hotels I stayed at. However, they only give 3 pillows per bed (I hate when hotels do this) and the pillows were terrible. The bed squeaked quite a lot when moving, the complimentary toiletries were used and stocked incorrectly (1 shampoo and 2 body lotions, no conditioner). The TV was hung crooked - noticeable enough to mention here - the coffee was terrible and there was a dresser in the room that had a drawer that would not stay shut, it was maddening (video'd below). The breakfast was sub par with pre made options only.Given the experience with the front desk, I'm not entirely sure I'd stay here again, but even regardless of him, I'm still not sure. I think the price makes it just worth it.

Nice quiet place to sleep, surrounded by other hotels in a busy shopping area. The main entrance is very nice, but the rest of the hotel needs some TLC. There are stains all over the walls, a soft wall in the bathroom, broken picture frames, and coffee splatter on a lamp shade. For a place to put our heads at night, it was fine, but do better.

Great location with many options to food shopping and all you need. Minutes from the apple store at the university park mall. The entire staff from housekeeping to the front desk treat you as kind and wonderful as you could ever need or want especially after a long drive. I have been to many best westerns bw plus and this is one of my favorites as to location and staff! ,10 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Rooms: Mostly renovated or updated. Clean and no issues at all with amenities not being availableNearby activities: There is a ton!!!!Food & drinks: There is a ton!!Noteworthy details: University Park Mall very close with one of only a few apple stores in the state of Indiana. Notre Dame obviously is very very close!
