I was quite surprised to see such a well stocked and organized record shop in Michigan City. My son even remarked how easy it was to find what he was looking for. I found a great selection of punk, hardcore, indie, alternative, and pop albums. My only regret is that I wish I hadn't spent most of my record budget in Chicago the previous day because Static Age had far more records that I was looking for. I will definitely visit again the next time I'm in town.

I literally got belly rubs from the cool cat and bird that own Static Age!!My human was thrilled with her new piece of vintage vinyl. I'm sure I'll be hearing Smokey Robinson spinning on the turntable as I nap in the windowand she works in the studio!These owners are nice and knowledgeable. They are stocked to the gills and bring their own pooches to the shop!!A unique stop for Michigan City!

Awesomely unique selection of new and used records - especially for indie music, imports. Fantastic owners, very kind and personable. This business also offers the opportunity for local artists to showcase their talent with their music and fine art, allowing their work to be displayed and sold.

Great place to find unique records, art, and gifts! He has jewelry, prints, artwork, movie masks and more!The owner is very knowledgeable, and if you're looking for something he will look things up and try to find out about it!

Such a great selection. I’ve found so many records I’ve wanted that I’ve never seen stocked at record stores near by. I would love to see an expanded used section one of these days but as of now I can always count on finding something each time I go in.

Spectacular service, extremely helpful and excellent communication. The amazing KC responded to my question about an upcoming record release quickly and friendly. Any concerns I had, KC got back to me pretty much immediately. He came through with my specific request, and in pristine condition. Absolutely NO price gouging either, cost was completely fair. Static Age went above and beyond to accommodate me. Even though I live almost an hour away, this is where I'm going for all my music needs, from now on.
