I went to Lowe’s today on 6/5/24 and I was looking to get paint. Picked out my colors and then waited for someone to help me. After 7 minutes I went to a lady at self checkout who was very nice and asked if she can call someone to help me in the paint department she said yes and called someone on the intercom. 5 minutes goes by she calls again. 8 minutes go by and she looks over sees me waiting still and calls again. Now there’s someone else waiting to she calls again. 3 time and still no one comes. I go to customer service and said is no one here able to mix paint??? Someone’s been called 3 times! It’s now been 25 minutes of me waiting. So lady at customer service comes and does it. No one apologized for the inconvenience or anything. Very disappointed and will be going to Menards next time.

First off they have terrible terrible customer service. We had to physically go to the store to get something resolved because our calls kept getting cut . People in the cabinet department rarely answer their calls when your call gets transferred. Secondly we decided to buy cabinets and counter tops with Lowes. Spent almost $4000 on countertops only. And the sad part is the countertops we received look nothing like the display they currently have in the store. Our counter tops came with two big black stains that don’t even match the design. They look like a child poured ink on our countertop. We asked why the countertops look nothing like the ones the have displayed in the store and if they will do anything about it. One month later we get a response saying there is not much they can do. And that was after me asking several times when they can resolve it. I regret not going to Menards for our kitchen project because lowes has been a disappointment. I’m disappointed that we spent so much money on countertops that look pathetic and there is nothing they can do to help us . I will never recommend this Michigan city lowes location to anyone. Our granite countertops look messy and pathetic when they are supposed to look new I could have been happier buying a cheaper set somewhere else. I could go on. Really disappointed and the manager herself has not been helpful.

The one star is for the cabinet quality and the kitchen designer that was very helpful in the store. I purchased kitchen cabinets through Lowe’s and decided to pay for the contractor they work with to remove our old cabinets and appliances and then install the new ones. The owner of The Home Improvement Group LLC came out to take measurements. Steve was nice and seemed knowledgeable. All communication from that point was through the company manager Bree. When the old cabinets were removed our microwave was broken. The button panel was torn off and the buttons no longer worked. They also left the fridge and stove (the two heaviest appliances) in the kitchen. I paid for someone else to remove appliances because I am not physically capable. As soon as I noticed the microwave was broken I contacted Bree. She sent Steve out to make sure it wasn’t fixable and made the comment that he wanted to take a look because the workers didn’t remember breaking it. Steve agreed to reimburse us for the cost of replacing the button panel. Weeks went by and I didn’t hear anything further so I contacted them again and was sent a check. The first day of installation they made a foot long scratch in our new hardwood floors. I mentioned this to the manager and they then put protection down on the hardwood. From that point forward they didn’t look or speak to me, only to my husband. There is a large gap between the foot kick and the pantry cabinet, almost all of the cabinet doors had huge gaps between them and many of them were mounted crooked. One of the drawers can’t be used currently because it hits the drawer above it due to being crooked. The sink cabinet was not screwed to the wall correctly so it was mobile and they installed our farmhouse sink incorrectly. It was installed too high for the countertop to be placed and they didn’t properly support it. They also vomited in my landscaping. When they put the appliances back they didn’t connect the dishwasher which I paid for them to do and they made another 3 foot scratch on our hardwood floors. They used quarter round from our garage without asking and this job took a total of 6 days. Our kitchen is not large. We had to reschedule our countertop appointment twice and still have to postpone it because the sink needs fixed. I paid for them to install the sink and now I have to pay someone else’s to redo it. My husband and I took off a total of 6 days between the two of us so that someone would be here while they worked. We paid around $4,000 in labor for the removal of cabinets and existing appliances, installation of new cabinets and range hood and sink and putting the appliances back in place and hooking them up. And NOW, my husband has to go back and redo or fix a list of things. This is terrible quality work. Our cabinets are beautiful and the quality is good. I would definitely recommend the product. However, I would strongly urge you to use your own contractor. Their quality of work is unacceptable and quite frankly, laughable. The pictures speak for themselves. After weeks I was able to get through to the customer service representative at Lowe’s. She informed me that I could take compensation for the botched sink install or continue waiting for the contractor to respond to them about coming out to fix everything. She even told me they’d sent them four messages with no response. We haven’t had a kitchen for two months and our countertops are just sitting, while we wait for the sink to be fixed. I told her we want to hire someone we trust to fix it because we can’t wait any longer. She said that would void the warranty. So our two choices are to wait for the contractor to respond to them for an undefined amount of time or take payment for the sink installation and have our warranty voided. I agreed to be reimbursed for the sink and then they sent a release of claims form that says they’ll reimburse me as long as I sign a form saying I won’t leave any negative reviews. Not signing it.

I'm not very happy with Lowes very expensive. They don't do rebate like Menard. For appliance items, if you have an issue, you have to deal with the manufacturer. Stay away from GE products.

They have terrible customer service, I tried calling the store to speak to an associate three times and everytime I was left on hold indefinitely. I even heard someone pick up the phone but then transfer me into the waiting room again. It seems like they literally just ignore their phone calls.
