Stopped in to Lange’s for the first time today and everything was fantastic! I can’t say enough good things about the service and the quality of the meats. We will be coming back for the smoked brisket, smoked chicken breasts, and meat sticks for sure!

This place was great. The owner was there today and he was very nice, and generous. Bought some ribeyes for my wife’s birthday and they were amazing. Don’t let the appearance fool you, top notch place.

Definitely the best local butcher in the area. The “ass-kicker” sausage is perfectly balanced successfully incorporating the flavor of the peppers but not masked by the heat. I wish I had more hands to give Lange’s Old Fashion Meat Market 4 thumbs up. The best! ????

Chicagoan transplant moved to NC.
I came here to get away from the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in Asheville.
We were treated like family! Delicious samples & ended up with a couple of aged porter house steaks that were IMMACULATE. Will be recommending this place to everyone I know

Stopped by and was very happy with the service. The smoked brisket was very tasty this is like a old time meat market. Smoked pork chops fresh cut off the loin same with the steaks. The smoked sausage sticks are yummy if you don't like them on the spicy side I would suggest getting the mild ones. We will be back. Great find.

We were immediately greeted upon walking in and got to chatting. Talk about hospitality! We were given free samples of their homemade jerky, which was delicious! So, we bought some of that, some hot dogs that they make in house, and a couple of dry aged steaks. The steaks are cut to order, and I can't wait to cook them! Thank you so much, and we'll definitely be back!
