After my boys have been here for a year now! A change has happened. New management, leadership, and ownership! This location has great potential you can actually see the changes taking place. The teachers are very helpful with hands on learning with the kids. I’m glad we stayed!! Thank you to the staff.

My 1 yr old has been going there for several months and I cannot say enough good things about it. There are times we pick her up and she does not want to leave! which says a lot about how comfortable she is with their care. I am very pleased that I can drop her off and not have to worry about if she is being properly taken care off.

Village Park Daycare is undergoing a transitional period and it’s going to take time along with the efforts of the staff and parents to ensure the daycare will be successful. A lot has transpired and everyone places blame however, the end result is that it is our duty to help build and make this a pleasant and safe environment for “OUR CHILDREN.” I believe they’re trying to do what they can to rebuild this establishment but again it won’t happen overnight. All we can do is support the center and do whatever we can instead of slandering the daycare provide feedback and solutions to help promote a productive and stress free environment for everyone. There is already a shortage on providers within Indiana compared to other states so why not pour into the ones we do have to make them better? Nothing and no establishment is perfect but negative commentary with no actions for change first isn’t fair either. I’m a parent and it hasn’t been a walk in the park but I do know what it’s like to undergo changes and have situations present themselves that are beyond control. It is very short staffed so how about spreading the word to people you may know who truly have a passion, care and are qualified to help make a difference in this facility. A gesture such as this goes a long way an can benefit to the growth and development of Village Park Daycare.

dont send your children here i know everyone view who has kids here may not be the same but my experience has been a rocky road they hit kids and will tell u otherwise i have video of them hitting kids as parents we dont know what is going on when we drop off our kids only what the staff tell us but having older children that went there and can come back n tell me what they are doing is a plus and the horror of things i say on video is very disturbing kids left unattened for hours at a time, the kitchen being filthy and not enough staff to oversee all the kids yes i know they went through a transition when they got the daycare but its been months now and no learning curriculum yet so what are these kids doing playing all day but when you tell your staff to lie to me and talk bout my kids to other families because i question your ability to run a daycare its very unprofessial

My son went here since he was 2 years old and I never had an issue. When my son got to the 4 year old class I then had so many issues. The director of the program and her granddaughter was mistreating the kids when kids would accidentally wet themselves they would make fun and would not change their clothes they would make them stand up until their parents arrived but in the packet they give you to start the daycare it said the kids will return the way you brought them to the daycare which was a lie. They used to make the kids fight or get their hit back when another kid would hit but that is wrong. The kids need to be taught not to fight one another. They used to show favoritism between the kids and the great granddaughter of the daycare owner used to do as she please but the other kids wasn’t allowed. One day my son didn’t eat because he didn’t ask for ketchup the proper way so they took his lunch from him numerous of times. And I didn’t know so he didn’t eat nothing until I got off from work. The daycare owner granddaughter used to scratch my son and hold him down when he didn’t do what she would like. She said she is hard on kids and she believe In chastising I had to take him out due to neglect as well as other parents. I would never send my son or even my pet to this daycare again.

This daycare is beyond ghetto! I’ve never seen anything like it before the staff super rude the owner does nothing about the staff being rude. I’ve never experienced anything like it before. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

I can’t say much about the overall level of care other than the dings that the state has given this daycare, but I would like to comment on my interaction I had with the staff when trying to enroll my child. I had to make a total of six phone calls just to speak with someone about the rates and whether the center had availability. Their phone seemed to be broken and was full of static and staff was rude and didn’t seem prepared on how to answer phone calls and speak to potential business. When my husband and I showed up to tour the facility a rude worker was standing in the driveway blocking the entrance. It was apparent that they were bringing the children outside which is completely understandable but when I tried to speak with her about my appointment time on numerous occasions, she refused to respond. She just ignored us completely and kept turning her back to us when we were trying to talk. The staff’s lack of professionalism, rudeness and inability to provide basic information about the center was enough to determine that I didn’t want my 3 yr old there. There are other daycares in the area for the same price that at least offer good service when someone is inquiring. First impression does still matter to some.
