Brought a package to be overnight shipped. Not only did they put it in as regular shipping, but they typed in the wrong street name (after distinctly spelling it) and typed in the most random zip code. None of the employees seemed to really care about their job. DO NOT GO HERE!!

I needed a document notarized and a staff member was so rude. I made a few mistakes but I could easily correct it. It's worth the time to deal rude people. I know people have a hard time on the job. Please just smile and be grateful for the breath in your lungs.

I recently came to this ups to help locate a package I’ve lost , And I spoke with a young man with glasses named justyn I believe, and he was AMAZING, very sweet very patient and is a people’s person I high recommend this ups and I recommend this young man. Thanks you for you’re help.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I went into the store yesterday to return an Amazon package. I didn't have a return label, so the lady at the counter told me that it would be $2 and some change to print the label. I didn't have cash with me in the store, so I told her that I had to run to my car to get the money. I did that & returned to the store within 1 minute. I paid & she gave me a receipt. Today, I received an email stating that I did not pay for a label & my package would not be sent. I called the store & the lady that waited on me answered the phone & said that I didn't pay & said here's my manager & put the lady with the green hair (the manager) on the phone. The manager said that I needed a receipt & that she was standing right next to the lady that waited on me the previous day & she was told that I didn't pay so they wouldn't mail the package unless I could provide the receipt. I printed the label and returned to the store and asked the lady that waited on me did I not go to my car, get money & pay yesterday and she said no I did not & turned her head. I was very angry at this point because why is she blatantly lying? Why couldn't she accept accountability & admit that she messed up & either lost the label or just simply didn't print it? I told her not to lie and that she was negligent in performing her job.I then gave them the label that I printed & used it because I wasn't about to pay again. I went home, FOUND THE RECEIPT & TOOK IT BACK TO THE STORE. She was looking stupid then, because she was adamant about me not paying. She proceeded to say everyone makes mistakes, etc. No, that wasn't a mistake. She basically accused me of trying to get over on $2 because she DIDN'T DO HER JOB & flat out lied and said that I did not pay when she knew I did. Had I not found the receipt, it would've been my word against her & green hair's word. To top it off, when I left the first time, they were in the store talking about the incident in front of other customers because a customer came out and told me...VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Since I provided MY OWN LABEL & paid for something that WASN'T USED, either the green hair manager or the store owner, Mr. Joseph Polo owes me $2.41. It's not the amount of money, but the principle and I want my refund expeditiously. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM GREEN HAIR AND THE CLERK. I did call corporate to make a formal complaint and based on the reviews, it seems they provide HORRIBLE service overall.

So I recently moved back to Indiana from Nevada and have been having packages sent to this store as it’s down the street from my house. I have bulk mail sent from a mailing address in Nevada direct to the store. My first packages there were fine no problem. Lately, I have been having issues retrieving my packages and over paying for them. I have had issues with this heavy set black guy that workers there. For some reason when I come in looking for my packages he always gives me trouble. The fist time he said he didn’t have any packages sent for my name. This was incorrect as the package was there. The next time I come in it’s with another associate he says the same thing, even though I’m speaking with another associate yet the package is sitting right behind them on the counter. Now, my last straw the sender are I are told multiple different things in trying to locate my last delivery. We were told it was transferred to usps. Waiting from July 19 until Aug 3 the person who sent me the package calls looking for my mail and are told it was sent back to Nevada due to me not picking it up after 1 day rudely by the associate. Yet, I never even know where the package was sent. I’m fed up with this location and something needs to be done about them. Especially, since we can’t call corporate to report our issues. The people at this location SUCK and I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau tomorrow. FedEx will be a great substitution.

This branch is absolutely garbage, I had a package overnighted on Wednesday, and I went to pick it up on Friday. Tracking said it was delivered and received by Rachel.I went to pick up the package and Rachel was there and she told me my package wasn’t there, that I needed to file a report with ups to see what happened to it along with some other BS excuses. These were items I needed for work and needed them my booked clients were waiting.Of she had done a better job she would’ve spotted my box there.Lost time, wages and some unhappy customers due to her incompetence. Was really disappointed she wasn’t there when I was finally able to retrieve my box.

I've never been to a UPS Store before, and the staff at this store were so patient, kind, helpful and courteous when it came to assisting me with sending out a package to my loved one. Besides shipping and receiving packages, The UPS Store also offers private mailboxes, printing services, shredding services, as well as sell office supplies. They can also assist customers with creating and printing out things like business cards, posters, and banners!

I am a disgruntled customer who believes this UPS retail outlet store racially profiles and I can guarantee if I were blue-eyed and blonde haired, I would not be writing this review. I am getting no resolve on an issue that has been ongoing since November 4, 2021. I took a package in good faith on October 30th to the UPS retail store at 417 West 81st Avenue Merrillville, IN to be mailed to Euless Texas to my 12-year-old grandson. To this date the package which contained a pair of Skull Candy Earbuds never made it to the destination. I KNOW someone took this package and now I am having the hardest time being reimbursed for this non-delivered package which was insured up to $100. I refuse to take a loss of my hard-earned money, whether it was 620.05 or the cost at hand of $62.05 which included the $12.05 shipping fee. I have tried to gain a resolution for this never delivered package, starting with two employees in the establishment on 11/26/2021 who stated they would submit a claim. I learned on 12/20/21 by the Assistant Manager Rachel she had never received a request on her desk (Rachel) to process a missing package claim. So, Rachel advised me she would process the lost claim and for me to check back in a week. I went in on 12/27/2021, a week from Rachel telling me to check back and was told Rachel was on vacation and would return in a week. I checked back in the retail store 1/4/2022, talked to Rachel who said she had processed my request, but the investigation was still open and no reply from Corporate Office to date. I then stated I am going to take this further, because obviously they don't give a care about my claim or me. I told her I would be reaching out to the Better Business Bureau; the Attorney General and I am going to contact Consumer Affairs about this matter. Rachel then gave me this number 1-800-742-5877 and she gave me a card with the name of the Store Owner (Joe Polo) but states no way to reach him as he hardly comes in the store. Well then what good is a name on a business card if you can't make contact with the owner who needs to know about his business and its practices? I went to my car after walking out of the retail store letting Rachel know I have no plans to step foot back in this place on 1/4/2022 and called the Customer Escalation number the given by Rachel and talked with Yvette on 1/4/2022, who promises to re-open the claim and again same ole same ole line. I then called to see the results and ended up talking to a Frank 1/14/2022, Jesus 1/14/2022, Joy 1/17/2022, Red 1/17/2022, then a supposedly a supervisor John on 1/17/2022 who was with Lost Packaging. He says he will for the last time reach out to Fort Worth Texas UPS about this package and IF THEY CLOSE THIS claim again as delivered, he promises he will monitor this and will take it upon himself to reach out to the Merrillville Retail Store for a refund and that they would give me a call. Well today 1/24/2019 I checked on the tracking number on the UPS site as John had advised and found claim is closed and marked as delivered. I called for John and was told there is no John. I then asked for a supervisor and the incompetent employee who did not want me to talk to supervisor, told me no- one could come to the phone, but would call me within an hour. I told him NO and I wanted a supervisor now. Catherine comes to the line and identifies as a supervisor and begins to make the same promises to me as the supervisor unknown by the name John did. WHY DID I TAKE THE TIME TO WRITE THIS POST? GLAD YOU ASKED----WHEN YOU SEE SOMETHING WRONG SAY SOMETHING OR DO SOMETHING DO NOT UTILIZE ANY BUSINESS THAT RACIAL PROFILES. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE TIME YOU STEP IN THE BUSINESS UNTIL THE TIME YOU LEAVE IS HORRIBLE. Update: -2 stars, because every time I need something notarized, they say "No one's currently available to notarize" and they try to send me to another store. I don't want to go to another store because my mailbox is at this store. Part of the reason I chose a UPS box is the notary service.original: 5 starsGreat place to house your mailbox with 24 hour access.
