Josh is simply amazing. It’s always so easy to schedule and he’s always transparent and honest with me about the vehicles needs and any concerns.
I’ve been to other dealers for my job but the service has never been so truly enjoyable.

Jeremiah was so amazing to work with! We were thankful for his attentiveness while in the decision making process of buying our Volkswagen. We test drove the car with him, went home to sleep on it, called him probably 3 or 4 times with additional questions then ultimately decided to go back to purchase the vehicle. We’re very thankful for this positive experience thanks to Jeremiah and the Volkswagen team!

As someone who's spent over almost $100,000 and had many interactions with different TEAM dealerships, I will no longer be supporting this business. I Called and made an appointment for an oil change two weeks ago for Friday morning. Took vacation to get that done with other things planned. Got called less than 48 hours before the appointment and told my appointment, even though it was made two weeks ago, was no longer important or imparitive business and that they've "had things come up" whatever that means.
I've serviced 4 vehicles, two of which were purchased at team with full service warranties and every bell and whistle, a 33k 2018 civic Si, 54k type R (both purchased at team) a 2021 Corolla and my old Golf. Tens of thousands in service and parts...
I will not support a business that cannot honor appointments. If you value your time, find another dealership. They sure have proven to me they don't value my time or money. Hope the bigger fish was worth catching losing a customer for life.

Trying to charge 125 dollars just to pull a stereo code in a 25 year old car. Don't waste your time they don't care about helping you here after you sell your soul to one of their many depreciating assets. For the gullible folks that only see new shiny metal cars, go on, waste your money on overpriced service and unreliable vehicles that depreciate the moment you drive that thing off the lot.

Saw a 2024 cross sport listing with approximately 7500k miles for 43,995. Went to dealership to take a look at this vehicle, but it was not on lot due to the manager driving it, salesman had manager bring vehicle around for me to see, it arrived dirty inside and out. I asked the manager since he’s been driving a car that’s listed with a certain amount or miles at a specific price, what reduction would it be in price, he looked at me with a grin and said nothing comes off the price and laughed. I immediately shook the salesman hand and said thank you and goodbye. There’s an extra 2000 miles on this car and they’re still selling it for the same price as before. When I went back to the listing for this review, I see they updated the mileage at the same price as before. Seems funny since I talked to him about driving a listed vehicle that they all of a sudden changed the listing right after I left.
Just to mention, the salesman I was talking to and dealing with was very nice and professional.

Another amazing experience at Team Volkswagen. I have been a customer at this dealership for the past 8 years. It was time to turn in my leased car and choose a new one. Jeri Velasquez was amazing and did an excellent job walking me through what my options were. He helped me make the best choice and I am thrilled with my new Tiguan. I highly recommend Jeri and Team Volkswagen if you are looking for a great car and impeccable service!

This is a very hard review to write. While I totally wish I could give them a 5 plus I can not, but I trust you will receive much better vehicle after my experience with them and after reading my review and knowing what to look for and questions to ask.
Dealers are flooded with many new used cars to inspect, repair to be able to sell. Especially in NW Indiana their is much to address due to our weather conditions. All dealerships are required to inspect the safety preformance of a vehicle. THis dealerships even gave me paperwork showing me all they did and all they inspected. Don't let this be enough for you, Take it to Your OWN Mechanic. My recent experience with dealerships in NW Indiana recently has been beyond terrible. This dealerships was by far not the worst, but the score for review was impacted because of Service Center Quality of work. I was very excited when I found this used Jeep lower miles here in NWI. Price was at the time I knew a bit high but did not have someone available to help me go up north in Illinois where I was finding better deals. Upon arrivial I was treated very very well a 5 plus customer services experience, they met the gap a bit on price a 4.5 rating on that (well at the time). I accepted the deal (which I wish I had walked, since my mech was not available to look at the vehicle at time). Driving home is where this dealerships would earn a -0 rating! Their paperwork showing the work they did and all they inspected was meaningless. I had to stop quickly and the vehicle was taken into oncoming traffic. Had it not been so late and close to closing I would have turned around and canceled the deal. I was still traveling a bit to them, and did not wish to drive home in dark after the brake issue. I did not feel safe at all driving all the way back to them. I expressed my concern to my mechanic 1st thing in morning and they could not get me in but sent me to another very very trusted mechanic that got me in 8am the very next morning. I was horrified the condition we found the brake repair they said on paper they did. They did in fact put new pads, even rotors.. but old tin pins that were rusted were never replaced and old brake lines that were breaking down caused the callipers to stick, especially the front left. Also a steering suspension part needed to be replaced. I went back to Team VW that afternoon after sitting in a auto shop 4 to 5 hours and asked for a manager. I did not even want to talk to my salesman at that time. I worked with a Manager Named Chris and it is his concern and integrity that allows me to still give this dealerships a score of 3 which I feel is a Neutral to cause them to look at this area of their business. Chris did arrange a PARTIAL Good will refund for a bit over half of my expense. My expense was over $700.00 to get this vehicle safe to drive. I was disappointed they did not take on the entire repair but I also went to my shop because I did not feel safe driving the vehicle far, and did not give them a chance. Chris was very very concerned and assured me the matter would be addressed with the service center, to increase the quality of their work. After all this I got in to my very very outstanding mechanic for a good going over the vehicle. They found the vehicle to be in overall good condition after these repairs. I can not give this dealership more then 3 stars because never should this vehicle been released for sale, with such lack of integrity repair on brakes. It is a learning experience for this dealership to change rusted brake pad tins and that brake lines do break down causing callipers to lock up. Also be mindful they have a $299.00 charge for security etching they charge without your consent, it is itemzed in the cost, I wish I had fought this. I also suspect they scratched the inside door panel when trying to load the soft top. I do not remember these scratches. This dealerships does seem to care. Just go in educated, take to your mechanic, and do not be impulsive like I was. Safe

I purchased a new VW Jetta recently at Team VW. The car is fine, no complaints but I feel that the dealer wasn’t transparent with the full deal. After I agreed to the final out the door price and signed all the paperwork, the salesman put the paper license plate on the car. At this point, I asked when I should expect to receive the permanent plates in the mail. I was shocked when the salesman said that I needed to go register the car myself and pay all of those associated fees($400). I have purchased a lot of vehicles before and never seen a new car dealer that doesn’t register the vehicle for the customer, and furthermore doesn’t mention this additional cost a single time until all of the paperwork is finalized. Poor business practice and left a very poor final impression on me. When you agree on a final “out the door price” at a new car dealership, that should include all associated paperwork and documentation. I shouldn’t have been thrown a $400 bill after everything was finalized.

Great car buying experience without the typical hassle of dealing with pushy salespeople or the fear of getting a poor deal.
I found Jeri at Team VW to be completely transparent and trustworthy from the start of our interaction. He and the rest of the team paired immense knowledge of their inventory with a desire to put us in the right vehicle.
I am also looking forward to working with their Services dept in the future and think the entire dealership aims for pleasant interactions from top to bottom.

After my Audi was totaled, I went shopping around for a new vehicle. After considering other brands and models, I decided that I wanted to stick with Audi and get a newer model my previous suv. In my online search, I found Team VW AUDI I in Merrillville, IN. I put in a request for someone to contact me regarding a particular vehicle. JEREMIAH (Jeri) contacted me within a few hours and I went check it out the same day. Jeri came to greet me, offered refreshments and provided THE BEST customer service I’ve ever experienced at a vehicle dealership. His honesty and transparency along with his personality made this a seamless, stress free process. The next day, I purchased my new vehicle and he not only ensured that it was cleaned and ready to go, but took the time to sit with me and go over other details of my new vehicle to make sure I utilized all the awesome features and make the most of my driving experience… I am truly grateful to JERIMIAH and Team VW Audi for making this a wonderful experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
