Embarrassingly unprofessional. Curt and short customer service. Least the woman who I talked to on the phone was. I'm very glad my local merrillville meijer pharmacy only hires people who couldn't care less. What an absolute joke. Idk how taxing it is to simply type info in a computer, but I know it's not so bad you need to be short on the phone. Should you encounter events that cause you to be curt, maybe step away from the phone and have someone, who, at the very least, isn't unprofessional over the phone. WHAT A JOKE.

Tim the Pharmacist is extremely rude. The techs are incompetent. I would not recommend this pharmacy to my worse enemy .I do recommend more customer service training for their entire staff. This staff have zero customer service skills. Tim hung up on me has I was trying to explain a situation regarding medication refill. Im sure they are miserable due to having to work in retail, but thats no reason to be rude to customers/pts. Thats a reason to get another job.

I swear this pharmacy is the worse. I kept receiving texts that my insulin was ready then my sister go pick it up Sunday the lady says she has no medicine ready for me (I’m convinced they gave my medicine to another person). The lady stated she can have it ready by 2 just for my sister to go back at 2:15 and they only have partial 1 vial of insulin ready. The lady said the rest will be ready tomorrow which would’ve been 06/24 but I decided to call this morning 06/25 just for the lady to have a little nasty attitude and say call back after 2. Not to mention I was out of my glucose sensors for almost a month because they continue to lie and give me the run around. I finally called my doctor and switched it to CVS pharmacy and they filled it right away. After I pick my meds up I will be done with Meijers pharmacy.

Generally, I Love Meijer but their asset loss prevention crew are a bunch of overzealous children. Like giving authority to a three year old. They need to focus on their jobs and stop being so dramatic!

I've been going to this pharmacy since they opened up. Best one around. They contact the Dr instead of telling me to, gives me the best price they can, always courteous, & very informative

Went to the pharmacy on 10/07/23 at 4:30pm and was told prescription wouldn’t be ready until 12pm tomorrow (10/08/23). Arrive at pharmacy at 2:45pm on 10/08/23 and are told by the same guy as yesterday that the prescription would be ready tomorrow by noon. We said “that’s what we were told yesterday” and the gentleman said log right. Let me get my manager so he can approve it”. The manager /pharmacist comes out and said he’s “not comfortable filling the prescription today but can have it done tomorrow” as if my dad suffering from cancer is more comfortable to the pharmacist than him filling a prescription we were told the day before would be ready today. He was extremely rude and said the HE never approved the prescription getting filled?? Sir, you’re right, the gentleman yesterday approved it? He acting like he’s the only employee there while we were literally just staring at two people.didn’t apologize or anything. Just said bye. Clearly he doesn’t care about the sick and only cares about the payday.

My son needed a prescription filled and the staff refused to tell me if they had it available. They claimed it was for their safety that they are not allowed access to that information, yet the previous day I was told not to have another dose of that same medication sent to them because it wasn't in stock (clearly they had access to the information then). The technician was rude to me and wouldn't let me speak, whereas the pharmacist at least was calm and said they would have to speak to their staff about breaking protocol. Meijer pharmacy really needs to get on the same page about what is allowed and how that news should be delivered!
