Cashiers were on their phones the whole time watching videos seemed to busy to help you check out. The manager seemed more worried about being “friends” with the checkout girls than a boss. I wish I could give negative star review. Will only go to portage now and would recommend people try the other store if they want good service

I've made many trips here. The workers have always been friendly and knowledgeable about the tools they sell. The prices are good. I've heard a lot of people say the tools are of low quality. Admittedly the tools aren't of the same quality as some of the big name brands. But ive used a lot of harbor freight tools and so far they have all worked just fine for me at a fraction of the cost of other brands.

I was looking for a saw so I can do some things around the house so I said well let me look and see what Harbor freight has and they had a sale on an electric handsaw that would do. The job went in great price. I also picked me up a new toolbox, which was a great sale price as well, Store has everything

I have been coming here off and on and this last time I went I walked in the store it was right at closing time I didn't realize that at the time there was no one at either register to answer any questions or help me in anyway or tell me the store was closed im walked around the entire store looking for a hand held steamer I couldn't find and then the rudest employee greeted me by saying we are closed it's too late we almost had words but I kept it PG and left the only thing good about this place I'd the coupons they offer in the email and the prices are decent but the service garbage it's always what you say to people but how you say it

I've been a professional automotive technician since 2012 and have been buying harbor freight tools since, fisrt time at this location, always bought at the schererville location by the dealership, but after Brandon was rude to me I will no longer associate with harbor freight or there tools, it's snap on or matco from here on out thanks to to rude ahole employees

WOW, I had so much fun wandering and getting lost it this store. I had never been in a Harbor Freight store before this, but I had heard of it through other DIY'ers. I went in for nothing, not knowing I needed so many things before I exited. Next time, I need to bring a small truck or trailer and really have fun! LOLThere was lots of parking in front, and the staff were efficient and friendly.It was a great experience, and it will be on my must visit list for the future. I will also check to the website for a sign in for specials and updates.
