Forget goodwill - they want 8.99 for just about every piece of clothing now.I spent 40 bucks on 3 shirts and a pair of pants. Everything is still junk... just at 3x the price. They help no one but themselves and you should run, not walk... to another thrift store.

ABSOLUTELY FILTHY! They LITERALLY have a canister vacuum front and center on the sales floor and the canister is visibly full, meaning you can actually purchase some “generous” donor’s dust, hair clumps, and garbage… probably smells like death if you turn it on. I’m sure their staff isn’t paid enough to use common sense or clean up other people’s messes, but I’d be so embarrassed to work in a dump like this. Most items are dirty and/or damaged. The clothes are all over the floor, most are stained, torn, or both and every shirt costs at least $9. I can totally understand raising prices if it means you can pay employees a living wage, but I assume they’re not compensating people fairly anyway and very few of these items are even sellable. If you spend even a minimal amount of time cleaning up and pulling broken items from the sales floor (or ideally not putting them out to begin with), you would sell wayyy more and I’d be able to visit without having to take a shower afterward.

Cashier tried to tell me a Louis Vuitton briefcase priced at $30 was real- when I showed her the inside lining of as peeled off and exposed was literal cardboard the manager Juan said nothing they can do and put it back on the floor. Sad you’re willing to deceive customers like that.

Disgusting clothes and nasty attitude from employeesWAYY TOO OVER PRICED especially since they get everything for free what a joke and they hadA used bra that had deodorant, stains they wanted 899for their prices. You might as well go buy it brand new.

The prices are insane in this goodwill. The worn out costco, target and walmart brands are sold for $9-13. That's the same if not more than buying it new.

So I went to the Goodwill in MerrillvilleIN on Saturday 3/18/23 because it was 50% off. I usually go to the Bins but dropped into this store to check out the sale.Parking lot about half full, not much wares or furniture wise. Young man putting out wares with no prices... yeah no stickers what so ever... Wares on the shelf, the prices are crazy... everything starts at 3.99... plastic storage boxes, 3.99. Buck 25 at Dollar tree.. chipped vase 3.99, package of 25 stickers, 3.99. Silly. No name water bottle , 3.99.... WTH is management thinking?Price that stuff at .49 cents and SELL IT !But aside from some stuff being priced stupidity and aside from merch going on to the floor with no price tags, we have Martial Aids being sold... Look at pic. When you see it. No joke, this is what was for sale.If this store needs a Production Supervisor or Store Manager, I'm available, if anything else I'll make sure the store isn't known for selling ball gags.

Store is very disorganized and very messy. I throw away better stuff than they sell. Their prices are getting ridiculous, for a place that gets everything donated for free. Then they have the nerve to ask you everytime you check out, "Do you want to round up the change you have coming back. In all honesty, the store just hired a full time janitor, and he is doing a good job in keeping the store clean. Its a lot cleaner than it used to be. But their prices are still ridiculous.
