The store hours here are ridiculous… 3 cars are here awaiting for them to open. Google states that they open at 8am unfortunately no one is here. But there are also no hours on the doors or there’s Always a hand written note about them being closed. Not to mention they always close before they suppose to closed. Needs new management here and new staff

The staff here is so friendly. The store is always well stocked and clean. Rarely do I see one of the big carts full of things to be put on the shelf that block isles in most dollar generals. It's my go to DG.

This store has really turned into a dump. Merchandise piled up in the aisies, can't find anything your looking for. Very poor mgmt.

The Dollar General in Merrillville, Indiana, has the most polite, hardworking, and supportive team this young woman has ever had the pleasure of meeting! This facility has SO many amazing deals! You are more than welcome to take your time and browse the aisles at this facility yourself, to find the hidden goodies on a discount! Whether you're looking for cleaning products, cooking products, personal care items, child care AND pet care needs, this is an amazing discount store that will meet your needs! They DO have an app available you can download, where you can shop, "On-The-Go" to find hidden deals ahead of time! I find it most personally rewarding to head to this particular store to hunt for bargains on a budget highly rewarding! Check it out!

Dirty!!!! employees won't clean they are just standing around behind the counter on their phones! Shelves are empty because they don't wanna stock the shelves!! They have products to put out but they are just leaving it in the boxes on the carts! They don't deserve one star

Just got a remodel hopefully that will help some. On the plus side they have a lot more greeting cards then they use to have.

Good place to shop with a lot of items handy. Take it easy on the workers plz. They're truly short handed. Have patience for them as they're really busy.
