We have stayed at this hotel twice now when we come see my great friend. The location is great. 2 months ago when here the tv wasn’t working and here we are again tv not working the pool out of service still. Room wasn’t very clean at all hair was in bathroom sink. Bathroom dirty. Countertop very dusty and dirty. Couch had a stain on it looked like somebody peeped. Needs some updating for sure. Not sure if we will be back we need to find something closer to my friend and nicer.This Place Needs To Be Shut Down!I got 2 notifications on my bank account today after checking out. 1 of them for $75 and the other for $50. Luckily we didn’t have enough money for the$75 but unfortunately they got $50There where no bath towels to take a shower Shower they are claiming the towels where missing the only towel in room hand towel and wash rags. This room was very dirty. We won’t stay here again!Noteworthy details: Don’t stay here!

Do NOT stay here! No pool, no bar, and I'm pretty sure no breakfast (we left before 6, but it didn't look like any preparations were made). Staff couldn't answer basic questions, and ran around in shorts, a Hoodia, and flip-flops. My daughter had to get the TV to work, knob was gone on heater/AC unit. Drapes hanging on floor were filthy. Place was in horrible disrepair, but one located, it was close to most activities. Sketchy as hell, don't get sucked in by the price. I have always trusted the Clarion name when traveling, but NEVER again!!!

The only good thing about this hotel is the location other than that spend your money elsewhere. I called this hotel prior to making reservations and asked if a late checkout is ok and was told it would be no problem. When I called back and made a reservation I specifically requested a late checkout because there’s work being done on my home and I could not go in. Now I’m being told they have already reserved my room (without even knowing which room I’m in because they never asked) and I have to check out. The guy at the front desk is rude and called me a liar when I told him I called the hotel prior to making the reservation and was told a late check out was fine. I will never come back to this hotel.

I went out of town to spend one night the customer service wasn't the best. The employees looked like they lived there instead of worked. Our tv wasn't working took too long to be fixed. Our key didn't work properly. The hotel room was nice and what made me put 3 stars because the staff in the morning was very nice to my mother and ISafety: the room keys wasn't working properly

This is literally the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in some not great hotels. The hotel did not have A/C in the lobby. The day I was there it was 90+ degrees outside. Went ahead and checked in assuming it would get fixed and hoping that at least I would be able to put on my A/C in the room. Got into the room and it was hot in there too. turned on the A/C in the room and hoped it would cool down soon. Well the A/C in the room did not work properly either and it was awful. There was also a big crack in the wall by the A/C where there was a spider coming in and out. I then pulled down the cover to my side of the bed to reveal a large brown spot on the sheets. Gross! Decided to go to the pool in hopes that the room would be cool by the time I returned. Once I got to the pool it had bugs in it and half of the pool was outside which we were told we were not allowed to use. The staff were also rude and unhelpful. Stay away from this hotel at all costs. P.S. the prominent fountain in the pictures does not work only ever has rain water in it. They do not maintain anything at this location.

The hotel has a lot to up date on in the rooms and in the main part of the hotel as well . They need new table and chairs in the breakfast area the indoor pool could be worked on to get it heated and clean. You can smell that the parking lot needs too be a smoke Alcohol free are I had to hold my breath in the parking lot.

This place is awful. I should have checked the reviews before booking here. Since I booked on Orbitz, I was stuck. There are much cleaner, budget friendly places to stay in the area which I have stayed in on my travels here. The room I stayed in was dirty, the TV was out the entire three days, the staff could not care less about the amenities. My expectations weren’t super high as I know things in budget friendly places like this are usually a little out of sorts. But nothing is maintained or cleaned here. Super disappointed.

This Hotel has the worst service, brought my family on vacation from florida to stay a couple nights here and had the worst experience the room was filthy, there was left over alcohol bottles in the room, trash in the trash cans, tub was black, sheets were disgusting and clothes in a drawer. Save yourself time and a headache and book somewhere else.Customer service is the absolute worst.

Staying here was a nightmare. I felt dirt staying overnight here. They had food from breakfast left out all night. The Trash cans were full and all over everywhere...I couldn't sleep because they were remodeling the room next door and Continued to hammer the walls. Not using any consideration of the guest. The Pool seem to be dirty and the ice machine was broke. My room was all the way at the end, but key cards doesn't even work at the door. It had a terrible smell in the hallway. The vending machine doesn't work and the laundry is old and outdated.

Horrible workplace if you are working or planning to work in 3rd shift good luck because the main supervisor Victoria is a racist who only loves Polish and Bulgarian people and nothing but nepotism in 3rd shift all the supervisors do nothing but nepotism and mistreat people who are trying to work I highly recommend no one works Here otherwise the moderators will not continue to deliberately try to make you angry or make the task more difficult for you so that you do not return. I stayed here working for three weeks and was not paid a week's salary. Scammers know how, but I did it and saw nothing but people coming and leaving every week because of the supervisors. The job is not difficult at all and very easy. Rather, it is only the supervisors who make it very difficult with their racism.

COCKROACHESDO NOT BOOK HEREI am from NE and had accidently booked here, I decided to give it a try since I checked in late. The elevator and every hallway was dusty and dirty and had a funky smell. I get to my room and the couches and chair were completely stained and disgusting. The bed seemed fine, I opened my curtains and they had cobwebs and were covered in dirt and greasy finger marks. I go to use the restroom and there's a cockroach in my bathtub. I get my suitcase and I tell the lady at the front that I will not stay here since there are roaches. She guaranteed that the manager would be in contact with me as soon as he was available for my refund. I NEVER GOT IT, $149 DOWN THE DRAIN AND I WASN'T IN THE ROOM FOR MORE THAN 30 MINUTESRooms: Filthy, cockroach infestedNoteworthy details: Every inch floor to ceiling was covered in dirt and grime

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, no room service, the breakfast wasn’t even worth it, staff are rude, there was dog poop on the floor by the vending machines in the lobby when I told the dude at the front desk he told me that he will have the housekeeper clean it tomorrow.... it sat there all night how disgusting! The pool was so dirty I didn’t even let my kids get in. I rented a presidental suite. they have two at that hotel, those are the best rooms at the hotel. The hotel has very cheap room rates, no deposit if you pay with a card, it has a free breakfast, a indoor and outdoor pool, a tiny gym, it is suppoused to have laundry but i didn't ask about it. it has meeting rooms, a work station with a computer, copier, printer maybe a fax machine, it has ice machines, it has 2 vending machines but the snack one wasn't working right, it has a atm but that wasn't working either, the only security I seen there was cameras at the front desk, the front desk wasn't inclosed in a bullet proof incloser, there was no cameras inside or outside the hotel, they don't accept cash there for safety reasons. that was the nicest hotel room i ever stayed in but it needed allot of repairs. it had no phone in the room, no am/ fm clock radio, the dead bolt lock for the door didn't work, some light bulbs didn't work, i didn't get to use the wi fi to see if it worked, the tv in the living room didn't work, the hot tub worked but was missing the button knob that turns it on, it was missing the front cover for the hot tub to, the ceiling and wall near the ceiling needed repairs and the bathroom wall paper was in need of redoing. there is no non slip strips in the shower so I was slipping a bit in the shower. the shower has no shelf or anything to put my soap, shampoo or conditioner on. I informed staff of the many of the repairs my room needed. one of the employees lied and said she would send the maintence man up to fix my room. the maintence man never came. this was the merrilliville, indiana clarion inn I stayed at. It is a run down hotel. they don't keep the rooms repaired right and there isn't enough security systems at that hotel.
