Apparel That Works is a scrub depot is located in a tiny strip mall off Route 30 and Calumet Ave. They often have great sales, great products and a kind and friendly staff. You can (and should) try on your scrubs before leaving (they have a strict return policy, so ensure what your paying for is something you like!). Aside from an abudance of scrubs, they also have PLENTY of Littman Stethoscopes (from the basic to the REALLY expensive one's!), badge holders, Pulse Oximeters and Sketchers. Working in healthcare? Stop by Scrub Depot in Merrillville, Indiana and you'll look GOOD while saving lives!

They had a larger selection than some of the other scrub stores I've visited in the region. Plus it was fairly open and clean and the women working were both friendly and attentive. I think this is also known as the scrub outlet store.

I went there to buy my first ever scrubs for a new job, yesterday. Jackie was working and was beyond friendly and helpful. They have several brands and styles to chose from. She grabbed several for me to try and she was patients with me, while I tried them on and asked for her opinion. Once I decided on the brand she offered to order then correct sizes that I need they weren't in stock. Before I made the purchase, though, Jackie out my items on hold because I wanted to check out another scrub store. Only because ATW doesn't allow returns. I went an checked out the other store, but they had less of a selection, but more importantly they were not as friendly as Jackie at ATW. I came back the same day and Jackie was once again super friendly, professional, and patient. She had more customers this time, too. I ended up trying on a less expensive brand, Cherokee, because the Jaanuu that I had left on hold. I ended up going with Cherokee because I could get a three sets for the less than what I was going to pay for two sets of Jannuu. Jackie placed the order for the threee shirts and three pants in my correct sizes. They should arrive in 7-10 business days, which not a long time to wait. Anyway, the store was a great find, recommend by a friend that is a nurse, and Jackie went above and beyond to help me with my purchase.

Apparel that works is truly wonderful. Our family has been going to them since 2006 and will never shop anywhere else. We will travel here since the location in chesterton is not there, but they really are a quality place with great staff!
