MOBILE PET GROOMERS, AVOID THESE TRAILERSWould give 0 stars if possible. Some of the worst service I’ve ever received.I reached out to Woody Handcock, the owner of Handcock Industries in January for purchase of a mobile grooming unit. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks to get finished… by the time I got my unit it was nearly 14 weeks.Communication was great up until I sent the $11,000.00 deposit. After that getting ahold of Woody was an absolute nightmare. I had emailed Woody a few upgrades and customizations I wanted my unit to have. One being to over build the axel. He completely disregarded that although I paid extra and I told him that he needed to correct that error. That error added an additional 6 weeks to the build because he had to reorder the correct axel. When I finally went to pick up the unit in late May, I was NOT pleased with the mediocre, diy quality work. Rushed and slapped together. Absolute POOR quality. Walls were not even waterproof. Total false advertising.I had inspectors come out as well some of my mobile grooming friends and they said it’d be better to return it. The unit needs so much work that I’m still not able to use it until hopefully August…. And after putting another $5,000+ into the unit. After confronting Woody about what the inspector said and the amount of money I would have to put into the unit, I asked for a refund. He said he didn’t have the $17,000.00 to refund me and I couldn’t return it unless he could try and find another buyer to screw over. Again, never followed up. We sent him photos of the poor quality work as well as the electrical errors that were not up to code. Pictures don’t lie.He then said he would give us a partial refund of $7,000.00 to help cover costs of repairing the cruddy work. Then later said he was filing for bankruptcy and would not be able to pay the $7,000.00 we requested back.We are now stuck to fix the unit without any compensation. Worst business ever. This has now costs us over $22,000.00 all together. What was suppose to be an exciting time for myself and my business became a horrible, disappointing headache.A nightmare. Here are just SOME of the examples of the rushed, poor quality work as well as messages from other mobile groomers that purchased a unit from Woody warning the public to avoid these grooming units…Services: Body & Trim

Commissioned ***** Hancock to build me a mobile salon at the beginning of 2020 . Signed a contract that said mobile salon would be done year to a year and a half I paid a $30,000 dollar deposit with the rest to be paid at time of delivery. Communication was so bad . Updates didnt exist and here we are still no ***** salon and no return on my $30,000 . Do not use this company or this man . He did tell my husband he was selling buisness due to illness but wow still my money needs to be returned.

I bought a "custom" trailer for mobile grooming from Woody Hancock. Paid for it in April 2020 and didn't receive it until September (was told to expect and plan for 8 weeks production time) honestly it would be easier to list the things that have NOT gone wrong than those that have. Horrible workmanship and even worse customer service. Woody is friendly and personable, even seems downright helpful- right up until he has your money and then good luck getting a response when you have a question or an issue arises. Yesterday, while I was driving the grey tank completely fell off. This is just the last in long list of repairs needed and it's only been on the road for 8 months. If I knew then what I know now I'd avoid Hancock RV like the plague. Don't be fooled by the low price tag! This trailer has cost me more than double what it was worth due to all the repairs and time off work that has been needed to make it function properly. Doing business with this company is one of my biggest regrets. Please spare yourself the headache and go with literally anyone else for your trailer needs.

I was pleasantly surprised that the owner tried to walk me through what he thought might be wrong with my rig, instead of looking for a quick buck! You don't find honest hearted people like that too often!

I took my RV to have the lower sections of the sides and the back repaired because of delamination. After we dropped it off the communication was extremely difficult. No updates, no progress reports and when I reached out to him sometimes my questions were not answered or I get a question back. Instead of getting it done in a month like he promised it took just over two months. He had several excuses and after looking at the repairs they may have done it in two weeks when I started to bug him for the camper. The list of screw ups is long.1.They were sloppy, glue was left on the panels, panels were scratched and were not cut right for the cargo doors. Also, ALL the cargo doors were installed upside down even the door with writing on it. The trim piece that runs between the old and the new panels have larger oversized wood screws installed, why. 2.Asked for LED lights. They put trailer lights on a motor home, they took the backup wires and connected it to the parking lights which put in reverse the parking lights came on which cause the flasher unit to be shorted out causing hyper flash for the signals. Also, the cruise control and the courtesy light were not working.3. Asked them to install a pull out battery tray instead they took the smallest cargo bay made a tray and mounted it in there. To remove the batteries you would be working blind to find the battery hold downs and the battery needed to be laid on its side to be removed. On the opposite side on the RV is a circuit breaker panel in the other cargo bay, the panel was hanging loose bouncing around which could have sparked a fire.4. The entrance door needs to be adjusted it doesn't close right.5. The antenna handle was not installed correctly.6.Was told the backup camera wasn't working but somehow they got it to work, which I will look at next year. Because, under the duct tap and caulking I'm afraid what I'll find.I know I might be missing something. After two weeks of working on it myself and about $300 to $400 in parts only the only things I have left to do is remove the glue and figure out why the cruise is not working. I could add my time also it could be worth $90 and hour so 80 hours equals to $7200.No, I didn't contact about the problems because I probably would not have seen the camper till next year and who knows what other issues I would have.If there was a way to put a negative rating here that would be great.Stay away!

Woody is the top of his class when I comes rv repairs and custom builds. He is knowledgeable and friendly. He was even so kind to meet up with me on a Sunday to unload a generator I had brought up from NC to Indiana. He’s building me a new grooming slide in unit. I’m super excited to go and get it when it’s completed.

Poor workmanship. poor quality of dealing with unsatisfied customers. Refuses to communicate! Woody Hancock refuses to contact me regarding flooring he installed that is coming up!! Took rv iback a second time to have work corrected that was done poorly. Now the floor is coming up and tiles broken and he refuses to contact me because I wrote a bad review. What does he expect when work is done badly. How many times does it take to do a quality job, especially when he charges you over 10.000 to do a job
