“Star bank has been our bank even before it was star financial. It has been our family bank for a very long time. I can remember going to the bank with my parents, because our home was completely destroyed by a fire and I know that the people at the bank took a collection for us, and I know that sure did mean a lot to my parents but my mom was so overwhelmed. At that time I was just kid and had no idea what just took place. I that the bank helped my daddy get back on his feet again by giving him a loàn to get us small house to rent and get back on our feet. That would be great start for a lifetime of knowing that you have someone on your side when you need that extra help. So here is a little bit later on in life and my parents of 55yrs and life hits home once more. My dad had passed away 2021 and my mom had stroke but she was left with no one but me to step in help her get back into her own home, but I needed help. I took graudship and had open an account so I could pay her bills. Well by now, she was behind and on our way foreclose on her home. So I went to the bank and asked for help. So they assigned me, who I call my special angel. She worked with me for a few days and helped me out of bad situation and gave me hope. We caught all the bills up and she is still helping me make out a budget that mom can live by and still get to stay in her home and I know now that , that day mom had so many tears in her eyes, they were happy tears. Because I walked out of that bank with tears falling down my face, because she took that time to help me and she didn't look down on me, she gave me hope that I can do this. “I was referred to Nick Gonzalez and Magnolia Bank and I now know why! Nick was extremely professional while also being easy to talk to. Between Nick, Kim, and the rest of the Magnolia team, I was able to close on my new house in 30 days. Besides the great customer service, the additional highlight here was having the option to do a hybrid closing. 1402 Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis“I've been banking at this location since I bought a house in the area. The offer a fee free checking account that I use along with savings and HSA. Though I just opened my HSA last year and got a notice this year they would be selling it off to another company which is kind of annoying but nothing serious. The staff there has always been friendly to me. Any issues I may have had were resolved promptly. Their phone app is fairly easy and intuitive to use.If I had to be critical at this point - I wish it was easier to get to on my bike. The location on shadeland is a bit nerve racking on two wheels. I hate driving my car there as it's just a few blocks away from my house and it's a water of gas but that's nit picking at this point.If my experiences with them change I will likely come back and edit this post but for the last 4 or 5 years they have been fine.”
