Typical small town gas station, people like to park at the gas pumps and think they are parking spaces while others are just trying to get n go. Grr!!

Good place to fuel and go, or grab some snacks for the road.

Always like because it was very close to and they allowed you to pump first and then pay inside. When I bring my truck and all my gas cans I don't know how much it will be and I prefer to pay cash. Now you have to prepay every purchase. I now drive a few more miles to Upland where I can pump first, then pay cash with a 5 cent per gallon discount for paying cash.

Though I don't write reviews for every gas station I use, I thought it useful to add this one since I was exploring Grant County and was getting to the point where I would need to fill up. My Yelp search said the nearest was 8 miles away. I was driving along and missed the BP in Gaston, so I kept my eyes a little wider open. Fortunately, Matthews, Indiana has a BP too, so I pulled in. The covered four (I think that's the right number) bay pump area was clean and had modern pumps that were easy to use for outside payment. There were no fueling or receipt problems at all. As I was finishing, a man came out of the convenience store and asked if everything was working okay. I don't know if he was a manager there or just being friendly, because he got in another car on the corner and left. Seems unusual, but made me feel more welcome in a small town. Hopefully, if more Yelpers set up the gas stations they visit on their travels, we can find gas stations more easily. Review #2545

Best known for their hand cut & hand breaded tenderloins. The best tenderloin sandwich in Grant County. Local family owned BP. Small town friendly atmosphere with a staff of dedicated employees that see to customer satisfaction.

So glad they've installed new pumps that take cards at the pump. When other stations bump up their prices by 30 cents per gallon, this BP usually jumps up much less than other stations.
