Everyone here is a mechanic and sometimes they don't have someone to answer the phone. If you have a problem that needs fixing, it's often best to just bring it down if you're nearby.

I was heading towards IU in Bloomington with a car full of my college daughter’s boxes. Stopped in Markle to get gas and my car’s battery died. Car wouldn’t start. Luckily I was able to get my car jumped. I googled the closest place that carries car batteries and this place came up. Drove half a mile down the road. A very friendly gentleman tested and changed my battery. Reasonably priced and quick service. I would highly recommend this place. Now back on the road to IU. Thank you Mr. Mechanic! You saved the day!

Super nice and great to work with. We had a car breakdown in the area and towed to them. Made the decision based to tow the car there based on the reviews posted here. Even though they were busy following the July 4th holiday and I had no appointment, they promised to check out the vehicle. They not only did that but repaired it at a reasonable price. Considering making the drive up there to have Markle’s work on all our vehicles.

Traveling from out of town. Dead battery on side of road. This shop went above and beyond by jumping my car, taking it to their shop, fixing it in 2 short hours without an appt, and had me on my way! So thankful for exceptional businesses and people!! RECOMMEND ALWAYS!!!

i’ve taken my car here for years. i don’t know much of anything about cars, but i know i can always trust these folks to be honest. my car has been on the road for over a decade and will be running for years to come because of their professional work. they’re very nice, efficient, reliable people who don’t try to take advantage.

I've been taking my vehicles here for years. Family owned, guys are knowledgeable and friendly. Seating is limited but, just a walk away from food, a park and a few shops if you're having more extensive work done. Once I was having a discussion about work I needed to have done on my car and, I was told "We can do it but, ______ are equipped to do it better." The fact they were willing to sacrifice a bit of money for potentially having better work done on a customer's vehicle speaks volumes.
