Over the past months we have had neighbors bring our mail to us from their box, received mail addressed to addresses not near to us, received local mail 9 days after being mailed, not received mail (bills), and received mutilated mail.This is not the postal service our post office provided 5 years ago. I've been told it doesn't do any good to complain. What can be done?

Was charged to ship a box that was under 2ft long, 1.5ft tall, and 1ft wide, and only SEVEN POUNDS, ONE HUNDRED AND SEVEN DOLLARS.Asked my gf to go right back and ask for the package back and a partial refund (expected my money back minus tax and label fee at the very least.) And they told her it was against policy to undo the transaction that took place FIVE MINUTES AGO.What an absolute scam. I’m not shipping coast to coast with next day shipping, this was supposedly the lowest rate they offer.Looks like I have to leave town for a UPS or FedEx so I don’t get railed by our own United States postal service!

Informed delivery tells me what mail is being delivered but then I don't get it, sometimes it never arrives. Had an incident like that last week. Expecting a Mother's Day Card with a check inside. After 9 days letter was brought to me by another person. Mailperson had left my mail in someone else's mailbox 5 houses away. This has happened before where my mail was returned and marked no such address. I understand the postal service is having problems and supposedly our local office is shorthanded, but they need to pay better attention. Anyway, I'm not happy with my mail either not being delivered and returned or being left in someone else's mailbox.

Hanover Deer Bend Drive, mail not delivered 2-3 days, wrong mail delivered, mail delivered to wrong address, mail delivered wet, for last 4 months. Put 2 packages that were delivered to us incorrectly back in box with flag up, mistakes marked clearly, one taken & the other left. Unable to contact Postmaster . . .

After living in the 47250 zip code for a while, I've repeatedly not had my mail delivered, not had packages delivered, had my mail thrown on the road, had my mailbox left open for anyone to take anything they want, and been told that they can't deliver a few packages due to a car being parked in the driveway. Half of my packages are delivered to the wrong address and I have to drive to that address to pick them up myself. What kind of mail carrier can't differentiate between street names? The best part is, the postmaster would rather blame the customer than address the problem. This is wholly unacceptable.

They've got an incompetent mailman and won't do anything about it despite multiple complaints. I've had lost and damaged packages, lost bills, a fragile package literally thrown out the window. Still nothing is done. Madison USPS doesn't care.

My experience with this post office and Steve in particular was outstanding! I had mailed a very special present to a very special newborn and in my haste I inadvertently used a prior address. In checking the tracking, the package was delivered but not received. Since I am in NY I had no idea if my parcel could be located. I contacted the nearest Post Office and spoke with Steve to advise of my dilemma. He was extremely helpful and stated he would try to retrieve my package from that address. He called me back within an hour stating he had it and it would be delivered to the correct address tomorrow. Now that is great customer service. Kudos to the team!

Only delivers mail when it’s convenient for them. Likes to scan items as “no access to delivery location” while our business is still open to the public even though I watch the mail carriers drive by my store. Pure laziness is all it is.
