Iam SO SADDENED AND SHOCKED by this store! This is NOT what I am used to at any Kroger store chain and I've visited numerous all around the country. The store is tiny and cramped. Seems super dirty and old. I normally especially love to shop Kroger because their produce is hands down the BEST most fresh, well arranged and plentiful. Here the produce was horrid! Whimpy and so much just wasn't there....empty holes every where. Whole entire aisles shelves were empty! I thought perhaps this store was getting ready to close down so I asked another customer who was local if the store usually looked this bad and she said yes but it is worse now. As I continued around the store smack dab in the middle where I guess normally meat would go were huge latters and men working...not remodeling just fixing something...maybe a roof?Needless to say I left my cart and walked out of the store empty handed. Iwent to the neighboring Walmart which was one of the best I've ever seen. I was hoping to make Madison my new shopping area since they are the closest center to me (I live in Osgood ) the contains a Kroger, Walmart and Goodwill and Aldi...my favs. I gotta have a Kroger tho....guess it's back to Baitsville or Aurroa for me.

When I first walked in, I was looking for the sanitizing wipes, (most Kroger stores have these) there were none. They do however have spray with signs to use them. When I walked over to get it to spray my cart I was yelled at by a manager/associate(William) that it was for “them” to use. Unprofessional and very uncalled for. I realize these are tough times, but don’t yell at your customers.

Right now there are many people in the store risking their lives in getting the corona virus. This is so WRONG....

Last evening when leaving the store Kroger employee William was such a blessing to me. William was the last employee I seen and he really represents your store extremely well. William was polite and friendly. He made sure when I first got to the store that I knew were the sanitized cart were located ad when leaving stayed with my cart while I pulled up my car to load my groceries. I wanted to tip him but he graciously declined and stated your company is taking care of there employees during this time and your committed making there lives easier and taking the fear of unemployment away. Thank you William

My mom works there and I’m allowed in the break room because my mom lets me go in there. Food and other things are cheap here, I want to work here when I get older. P.S It’s Kroger not Krogers!

Usually, Kroger has great customer service. Today’s trip was no exception, until the very end. Throughout the store, the associates were great. A banana for my son in produce. The bakery asked mom and dad (in a hushed voice) if my son could have a cookie. We even had a guy approach us with a pound of hot dogs and a coupon saying “hey they’re free”. It wasn’t until checkout that we had our issue, and a huge issue it was. My son has fatal food allergies. A great number of them.
