I went to file my taxes at the branch in Madison Indiana, the lady entered one of my W2 in TWICE making it look like I made 10k MORE then I actually made. Leaving me owing 1700 to the irs.Then I called them once I found the error and I had to go back in to resign paper work, they had me sign a stack of papers that DIDNT BELONG TO ME, and handed me a packet that once I left and got in the car I noticed HAD SOMEONE ELSES NAME AND SOCIAL ,ADDRESS, BIRTH date, every bit of info someone could use to steal someone's identity!!!!! Is this how they Handle our important life changing INFORMATION??? My mind was completely blown with this entire transaction, I'm not a tax professional, I shouldn't have had to go home and find the errors made by the "tax professionals " then to get someone ELSES PAPERWORK, WITH ALL OF THEIR INFO ON IT . WOWWWWWW, I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THAT WOMANS NAME AND CALLED TO SO SHE WAS AWARE HOW H&R BLOCK HANDELED HER INFO ....That's Huge ,someone could get a loan or cards or a car and that would be all the info needed to do so. This day and age u can't trust ANYONE , with ur info. Clearly not these "TAX PROFESSIONALS " VERY VERY disappointed with my experience this year, very very disappointed... I have used h&r block every year for as long as I can remember..... This experience has ruined it for me . I don't trust them at this point .
