Absolutely lovely store! Unfortunately when we returned yesterday to purchase the items we wanted the store had closed an hour early and we were not able to make our multiple pi purchases for Christmas and baby shower gifts!

It wouldn’t let me put no stars…Today my family, my partner, and I were shopping in downtown Madison and we went into the store because we saw the beautiful stuff through the windows. While my partner and I were shopping in the front of the store my mom and sister were in the back and the store. My sister turned to walk towards the checkout counter and she caught the lady behind the counter (hope to God she isn’t the manager) taking pictures of my partner and I. Idk if it was because we are gay, because my partner is black, or both. This was absolutely unacceptable and we most definitely will not be back

The go-to place for a unique gift. A beautiful store filled with American made arts and crafts. Everything is reasonably priced too considering all the thought process and time these artist have put into their work. I love to give gifts from the Cuckoo's Roost and I love to buy myself goodies.

Owner was a little abrupt, but then she warmed up. Her stuff is cool. I get the feeling she gets a lot of browsers but no one buying. I liked her bracelets and stuff, though, and I think she has a lot of unique items. I plan to go back for Christmas presents.

Beautiful gift shop with all American made items. The shop has jewelry, ceramics, blown glass and carved wood items. I bought some pretty glass earrings for myself and a wooden serving board as a gift.

What a great addition to historic downtown Madison. Gorgeous American handmade items are showcased throughout the beautiful shop. It is definitely my favorite place when I need to find that perfect, unique gift.
