My installation of fiber internet went very well, in stages pertaining to the different required types of work to be done. All stages wen well and the installers were competent in the work to be done.The new equipment outside was installed very near the meter base, and puts all the Tipmont equipment in one area. In time, it will blend in with the house with a little help. :-)Having my own previous experience in the field of communications, I can say they were good at their respective jobs.

We recently had Wintek installed for residential use. From start to finish, everyone we interacted with was communicative, punctual, and respectful. Highly recommend Wintek and the service is phenomenal for rural residents.

We got internet through wintek this year and when we did we were told to get locate through a private company so that if their contractors hit something it would be their fault and not ours. So we did that and then they hit our power to our barn. And now we haven’t had power out there for well over a month and we are trying to prove that they did in fact hit it. They drilled the line in within inches of our existing power lines. I’ve heard from multiple people around me that the contractor they use has already hit a lot of other peoples utilities. I wish I never would have gotten it because honestly the internet is slow we have faster internet through our hotspot on our phones.

Disconnected me for past due, fine my fault I work 14 hours a day it slipped my mind, made the payment right away after I got home and I had no energy. I called the number and they said there’s nothing they can do past business hours meaning I will be without power tonight until tomorrow. I asked if there was anything I could do and they said no and to call again because I had to remind them to reconnect me.. NICE

Always prompt to fix issues no matter the weather. We just had a storm that flooded the roads and watched lightning take out the transformer down the street. Twenty minutes later the Tipmont truck was out to investigate and two hours later had power restored. Never had that kind of service with any other power company in the Midwest. You guys are amazing!

0 urgency to work with customers or fix issues you are having. The only time they are attentive to you is if you have a balance. I have no way to view my bills or pay them, and they haven’t cared to fix it in months, if not a whole year.
