My food was cold, I ordered a corn dog and mushrooms. I waited almost 30 minutes. Other people who had big orders were getting their food before

The $4.19 J-burger was cheesy enough, but otherwise had very little flavor. The $2.99 for a "basket" of fries and coleslaw wasn't worth it. There were hardly any fries and the cup of coleslaw was miniscule. The dining room is crowded and noisy. The tables aren't cleaned between use.

Fried chicken livers were really good but much too salty, and I'm a salt lover. My float for dessert was delicious!

A nice restaurant, but the food quality is not the same as it used to be. The chicken was overcooked.

Good local food. A local icon when you are camping at the state parks make sure and visit J's for ice cream or dinner. There is outdoor seating if you have your furry friends with you as well. Be prepared to wait and it is recommended to call in your order if you want chicken, before you go to the restaurant. But over all we'll worth the time to visit.

Loved this place for decades! Usually best fried chicken unfortunately last few times not so much ?. Used to be crispy skin and juicy meat. Skin hard and meat dry perhaps overcooked. On the good side orange sherbet delicious ?!!

My grilled cheese was delicious and so were the fried mushrooms. Wish they had Mac n cheese tho!! Was pretty busy and crowded inside but they have multiple outdoor seating areas. The shakes are fantastic as well.Kid-friendliness: The outdoor dining is ideal for the kids with their ice cream.

Don't come here if you are hungry. come here about an hour before you're actually hungry so when you sit there long enough when you're hungry you have a raging headache. You also will have back pain because the seats are so uncomfortable.Don't come here hungry too because the portions are extremely small. the Buffalo chick sandwich has about 2 inches in diameter. the Side of jojos or whatever is a small pinch of them l. not worth the wait or money. Because who loves cold food. if there is no wait go, because maybe your food will be warm.

The lady working on Aug. 18 in purple with glasses and highlights in her hair does NOT understand how to speak to customers. She was EXTREMELY rude to my dad. His order was completely wrong last night and he didn’t know until he got home and opened the bag. He didn’t want to drive back so he ended up taking it back in the next day to let them know and get myself and my mom food as well. She rolled her eyes at him and told him he should have called last night. He brought the whole bag with the sandwich and receipt. He ordered a double cheeseburger plain and got a fully loaded tenderloin. He did NOT deserve to be spoke to the way he was. To the lady in purple, understand your body language and know when to admit a mistake was made. It wasn’t his fault. This woman was extremely unprofessionally and I will be disappointed to know if she remains staffed here.

The girl taking orders was extremely rude. When asked what a cooler was she looked at me like I had three heads. I had a bad experience years ago here, when the chicken wasn’t cooked. I thought I’d give J’s a second chance. I will NEVER be back!
