“One of the few places you can get off road diesel fuel and racing fuel. They keep the pump areas picked up. That's not an easy task when people throw their garbage out from their vehicles. They have a carwash off to one side. I've never had a problem with it and it does a great job. You can actually pay for a carwash when you pay for your gas at the pump. The inside has a variety of items. A small convenience store. Always clean and well organized. Employees are helpful and friendly. Now if I could only get them to give me a winning lottery ticket ?”
“Good truck parking, clean lot, good food and clean bathrooms. Drivers if you do stop please be respectful. We don’t have access to many of these nice small business stops”
“The store has been remodeled by Jay. It is now modern, clean and seems more roomy. His wife is an excellent cook and grows her own vegetables on sight!! Wonderful mom n pops place!”

“I needed gas for my car, while we was down in Grant line road after we went to Walmart. With gas being cheaper there than at home or at Salem. So stopped at the Shell station and got ready to pump gas. Was asked if I would like to save 5 cents off. I did, signed up for the Arco app. You can go to restaurants that is on the app I am guessing you get points to use on getting money off gas. Will definitely look for using more Shell/Arco stations especially since gas is so high.”
“Jacobi’s food mart and Arco gas station is always a must stop for me when I need fuel. As soon as you get out of your vehicle you are tempted by the aroma of their scrumptious fried chicken. Do your self a favor and savor the flavor.”
“I was at the deli a little after 8 pm, and the lady working was very friendly, and she recommended Meijer’s deli roast beef! It was just what I was looking for. It was not rare like some of the others! She is what customer service everywhere should be like! I wish I knew her mane.”

“For a gas station, not bad. Plenty of options to pick from on the inside, looks like everything was just stocked. The ice I like was out but the cubed ice worked fine. The employees were nice and friendly. The outside was a little dirty but everyone treats gas stations like they are the red headed step children of businesses.”
“Great little store with very friendly employees (except one & he's a jerk...but there's one everywhere, right?) The owner and older fellow that work there are very friendly. The food is usually very fresh. They also have red cream soda in the fountain & I love that! It's the simple things, right?”

“Honestly, this Thornton’s is one of the better gas stations I’ve been to. Stopped in for gas and ended up grabbing a coffee and a breakfast sandwich too. Pumps were clean, easy to use, and the prices were fair. Inside was surprisingly nice — well-stocked, bright, and didn’t have that sketchy gas station vibe at all.
The staff was friendly and fast, and the bathrooms were actually clean, which is rare enough to be worth mentioning. Tons of snack options, cold drinks, and even a few healthier choices if you’re trying to avoid just chips and candy. Whether you’re just fueling up or need a quick pit stop on a road trip, this place gets it right. No complaints.”

“The only reason it’s four stars and not five is because they close sooner than what is shown on Google Maps. They were closed before 10:15pm on Sunday night instead of 10:30pm. Otherwise, we love going to the Marathon. 20 oz Big Reds are cheap and their chicken is delicious. Sometimes I’ll get a a bunch of chicken tenders for us to share at home”
“I never thought I could give a Walgreens a 5 star but WOW! This one was immaculate and the the staff were AMAZING! Katy had no problems doing a price check for me so I could decide what product to buy. In a world so full of crud and people who have just given up they definitely have not at this store. I have OCD and have worked in retail and everything was so perfect! No dust everything front facing. I will NEVER go to another Walgreens but this one again!”

“Over all the store is a pretty good place. There's definitely room for improvement as with anywhere.Melinda is a great manager to work for. She definitely deserves a major raise for how much she is willing to do for the company. She definitely needs more freedom on choosing her team that she would work best with since she is always trying to take care of her people so she definitely deserves employees who will do the same.Missy has made major improvements and great strides these past months. I hope she continues the great work and earns a ton of raises as a result.Ashley is a great worker. She always tries to be a team player and learn more about the store and company so she can be a great asset for the store. I hope that she comes back and doubles down on that same drive and earns a promotion. She can definitely do great here.”
