I get several used tires from these guys. They are now one of my three go-to tire guys. They don't always have the tires I need, but I don't expect them to. But when I do get the tires, they are good tread and not expensive.

TL/DR : long story short : Very honest people, very knowledgeable staff, and very high quality work ! We are extremely happy with what they did, and how fair their pricing was. We definitely recommend them if you need a nice, reliable, fair, and honest car mechanic !If you want the details : We came to J&A Auto Repair, as our last hope for our car, (we own a 2012 GMC truck with 181 000 miles... ) because everyone else told us that our engine rattling noise + vibration issues were related to a soon-to-come failing timing chain, and that replacing it most of the time results in a failure... So, changing the whole engine right now would be the best thing to do...(and since changing the whole engine was very pricy, we asked 4 other different local car mechanics)... And they all more or less said the same story...Anyway, we came here as our last hope, and sure enough, they really took care of us, they carefully assessed our issues, taking all the time they needed, using all their skills, their tools, and a couple stethoscopes...And of course, after a lot of effort, they found out that the timing chain was absolutely fine, and that our (weird and increasing) engine noise + vibrations were coming from the alternator and the idler pulley...They assessed it, replaced it, and it was done... No more noise, no more rattling, no more vibrations... All of this for a total cost repair really fair (and clearly not the one needed for a whole engine change...)

Great, fast service! On a cross country road trip I popped a tire on I80 right before this exit. I called a couple auto places I found on google and J & A told me to come on over. I was in and out within 30 minutes! Very reasonable price and very nice men working. Highly recommend!Service: Tires

These guys are great and reasonably priced. I took some driveshafts that needed u-joints replaced. I had them out already and the new ujoints. Turns out i had the wrong ones and they went and grabbed the proper parts and had it done in no time.

3 stars because they need to communicate more with the customer. I would have given them a 5 star but when I am not getting a call back on an update. I have a problem with that. Did they get the job done yes. Would I go back yes. But I will diffently be calling more and just showing up unannounced. I did not call much since i did not want them to think I was rushing him while my car is in his shop.

If I could rate this place zero stars I would. First time my car broke down, I needed my axles replaced, they recommended me this place because it was cheap and they did good work. After the job was done, just a few minutes after getting it back, I heard a weird noise coming from my front passenger wheel. I checked it out and didn’t have a caliper bolt causing my caliper to scrape my entire wheel on the inside (first picture I posted to check what the noise was) didn’t make it a big deal because I thought I can just purchase an additional bolt. My car breaks down a second time breaking the axle on the driver side. Had to buy parts for it and I consider bringing my car to these guys again because of affordable prices. No damages to the car getting on the tow truck and when I get it back I see a huge dent on my fender. The owner himself tells me that there was no way to prevent damages loading and unloading from the truck. That they tell customers their cars will get damaged but they never told me that at all. They didn’t even bother calling me to tell me there was damage done to the body and took no responsibility nor payed to repair or replace the fender (second picture being the before and third picture being the after.) Then, to my surprise, I again hear the same noise but this time on my front drivers wheel and I get out to check it and wouldn’t you know? A caliper bolt missing again! I don’t know how they operate knowing they’re damaging cars! Wouldn’t recommend this place to no one, even if it was the last option you guys had! Terrible and very unprofessional!

The best in the region! I cannot say enough good things about junior and his crew. They have saved my husband and I so many times. Very reasonable prices and Junior takes so much pride in his business and you can tell! Thank you guys so so much!
