Purchased a console from this location I asked for it to be tested prior to purchase due to a sticky white substance on it. Cashier said just bring it back within 7 days if it doesn't work for you. I brought it back the next business day some rude person said no I'm going to give it back because it works. It makes a loud noise upon powering on and the tacky material was covering a huge crack. She refused a refund. Don't do business here on any level.

Personally don't like coming here unless I really have to staff is rude. They lied about professional equipment I have that is more than 300 bucks. This place is a joke

Had nice veriatiy of items. Just stopped by to check the store out. Lots of tools and jewelry, friendly clerks. Stop on by and just maybe might have something you like.

First time using this pawn shop in lake station. Found item through Online Advertising and was able to get the item same day. As described. Cisco and Louis helped load snowblower. Price was fair for time of year. Thank you for properly testing and loading. Great team.

Know your prices before you shop for obvious reasons.Previously I reviewed erroneously that they did business with firearms. They do not. That was a different pawn dealer. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I've been doing business with them for over 20 years. I go in to pay on a ring I purchased. I pay $70.00 in cash and put the rest on my mother's credit which I have rights to use. The manager then tells me that he is not going to use her card. It's mom and I card. Never have a problem anywhere else.Talked to manager in Valparaiso and she tells me I was rude. Well this manager took my mom's credit card for a ring purchase this year. That was okay. I have a loan and small amount on a layaway.After I pay them off. I will never return. Oh the nice manager in Valparaiso told me that she was sorry I didn't get away with using a card I am allowed to use.This is going viral!!!!! How dare you say more or less I'm stealing which I am not!!!!

Great staff, friendly and very helpful and they always have good quality stuff for the right price! I’ve never had to take anything back because of issues and we still have our electronics from years ago, amazing especially when I’m buying my kids game systems and tablets that are used yet they still have them years later! Forever my #1 go to before I pay retail price

I was looking for some quality tools and found a craftsman set for around $100 and Louis at ameripawn gave me a better deal on it I would definitely recommend ameripawn to anyone looking for tools electronics or pretty much anything you're looking for!!!

I’ve been to 10s of other pawn shops but my most recent visit to Ameripawn has made me a life-long customer. After being rejected by my 3rd fiancé, I took the ring here and James listened, made me laugh, and reassured me that everything was gonna be ok. I even had to tell my mom on the way home (she wasn’t with me, I called her on the phone) that he was a real stand up guy, even though I know he sits sometimes. Thanks James!

Recently bought a 12 string guitar from there and the staff members were great because one of the strings were missing and they through in an extra string set. Shout out to Louis for being a good worker
