Been going to these guys for years what a great team to help with all your hardware.
I prefer going to ace as opposed to other big box retailers because the employees they're actually know a little bit about the stuff you're buying. And when you ask for something they take you to it as opposed to you and some teenager at Big box hardware store trying to find it together.
And the thought process of Ace hardware being more expensive than big box stores is completely not true and even if it was just a couple of cents more I would prefer the coziness of dealing with an Ace hardware store as opposed to those other stores any day

Took my ego chainsaw there in early spring. Got a phone call in June or July about they're. Still waiting on ego. Ego warranty takes forever. This is my fourth device and each one takes about 6-8 months. Call back and pretty much. Sounds like they threw it in the garbage because I never came and got it after the 30 days after it got repaired. Never got a phone call or a voicemail. And I even brought a battery in because they asked me to bring a battery to verify that it wasn't just the battery. So awesome! I will switch over to greenworks and not every buy from Ace.

Managers & staff are terrible. Nothing but attitude. Worst Ace Hardware I've ever been in !

Mechanic is very rude. I brought in Ego mower along with battery &charger with warranty work order. First thing he tells me to take battery & charger back home with me. I asked how do you know what's wrong with it. He replied because he's the mechanic and knows how to fix it. This is without even seeing the mower, which was still in my car. I explained the issue I was having and that Ego said it could be any of the parts. He then tested the battery and, sure enough, it was the battery. If I had followed his stupid instructions, he most likely would have said the mower was fine, it's "user error".

Save your time and go to Menards.
Terrible customer service. I was hoping to purchase some planting soil but the cashier couldn't be bothered to go check the price of the dirt outside. I went out to do her job for her and when I came back 10 seconds later she was ringing someone else up already. So I left without making a purchase.
