Daughter ended up with the flu so had to cancel and they charged me $160 without even knowing what she was even getting done to her hair will never even consider a place like that or recommend to anyone.

Emily is the best. I have had very few experiences getting my hair done professionally and I have been so satisfied having Emily as my stylist. I recently discovered this salon, and I love it. Luci is my hair stylist and she does an awesome job every time. I had not had my hair done since March of this year Professionally because I had lost a few of my siblings tragically and recently my mom, I have PTSD and I fell into a deep depression. And recently fought getting justice for a dog that a man had burned over 90% of her body and was successful in getting him the max sentence and put in prison, I was emotionally depleted, I had really wanted to get my hair highlighted and my hair dresser is back in Ohio where my family is. I wanted to feel better, and at least look better so I chose the Hair spa. My first visit in August was good the stylist is very sweet and she had did a nice job including style and the price was awesome. So I decided to go back the next month in September for more highlights, to my surprise the bill was more and I didn’t get style and left with my hair wet she had a client waiting and I decided to let her take her next client and head home, but I questioned the bill. She said it’s inflation. At 100%??? I contacted my bank to dispute the other half. Tipping is separate and I tipped 30-35% each time. That wasn’t the dispute. The owner Mendi contacted me and said she would credit my account $90 if I dropped the dispute and gave her salon a second chance, that I wasn't charged enough my first visit by mistake. She rang it in wrong, when I came back October 25th the credit was $65 not 90. I mentioned this to the stylist. We agreed on a partial highlight and haircut. After the process I said my hair looks very brassy. She said your under a warm light. I paid my bill minus the credit and tipped her. When I got home I saw my hair was indeed brassy. I instantly called the salon and my hairstylist answered and agreed to redo it the next day because I was having major surgery on Thursday and would be down recovering for 6 weeks. The redo on my hair was rough. She said your hair isn’t lightning up and I have to mix up more stuff. Sadly it made my hair way worse and a large patch of white circle is on top of my head and didn’t blend. The brass still there. When I left I was upset hundreds of dollars in services and tips combined, and I also tipped the second day too because that’s her time and I just wanted it fixed. I contacted Mendi the salon owner via Fb messenger with photos of both visits 2 days in a row, this was the second chance she asked for, I had only had my hair done professionally at a salon one other time this year and it wasn’t in Lafayette. . I asked for receipts which came cut off, and details of totals and payment methods missing. She said she was trying to make the best of a bad situation. She never even commented on the photos which are horrible, the amount of money to fix this will be another few hundred. She offered to refund me the other 90 from the second visit I disputed and said she would refund the money to my card on file, I informed her that card was cancelled and I have a new card, she said she refunded it and it didn’t bounce back. My bank said there’s no way a refund went to my card that card is void, I emailed her back to let her know but she insisted it went thru. I waited and contacted her again with my banks phone number and she never contacted them or responded, my bank contacted me because they wanted more details on the receipts and some were cut off I contacted the salon to get my receipt I needed and was hung up on by the receptionist, then my husband called back and he too was hung up on. I let my bank know, I emailed Mendi one last time and she sends me a message saying I’ve contacted other salons in the area and your a problem this isn’t the first time you’ve done this! Like I destroyed my own hair? Paid and tipped well, I have only had my hair done twice this year. Since Covid 3 times, one wasn’t in Lafayette at all. Calling other salons to slander me? This has been the only dispute. She is a bully she lied never refunded me now contacting other salons giving me a bad name lying, all I wanted to do was feel better thru all the grief.
