Tonight I show up at 8:57 pm 5/18/2024 the lady at the door not even closed yet she tells me and my fiancée sorry we are closed... no you close at 9pm.... we had to return something cause our dog wouldn't eat it now we have to go somewhere else to spend more money cause we can't return it until tomorrow.... we buy alot of dog food from here and it Is purina pro plan... that woman is rude as heck.... we might not come back now we spend alot of money here if you look at our accounts and this is how we get treated

Have been to the same PetSmart in Lafayette. And all three times was told no. We can't sell you fish. Then made us feel like we are bad people for buying fish. Told us we don't know how to take care of fish. Will not be going back.

I just shopped at pet smart and I got everything I needed I stopped by the car room to say hello and the cat started sneezing blood and I was concerned and we told the lady at the register and she just said I’ll look into it and basically had no compassion and as someone who worked at a pet store it’s kind of ridiculous I get bad days but you should have compassion for a cat and be more customer service friendly. I called management to talk to a manger about the situation and she basically dismissed it and it’s ridiculous it also sounded like the cashier we had and It just genuinely doesn’t sit right that they wouldn’t even have compassion over this cat and as a concerned person it’s really sad to see how a person can treat the situation as a dismissal. Genuinely customer service and being in a job like that you should be compassionate and not dismiss a sick cat. it’s disgusting!

I remember going years ago to this Petsmart and being able to buy a cleaning sucker fish in small tanks with my parents. Years pass by till to today and a very disrespectful and lacking of any compassion associate told us (around the lines of) "You are NOT buying this!! You can't buy this, you need a 150 gallon tank ". "You can get some snails but that's it " compared to what professionalism should've taken place: "Ah I see, unfortunately we are not able to provide you with the fish because of the gallon size that you have, if you want to look into our policy you are more than welcome to do so *hands pamphlet or some piece of reference*. " "We do have an alternative with a couple of snails if you're interested? " I understand and other people should know that all people are subject to bad days and possibly other bad customers making associates behave in an angry fashion towards other customers like in a reflecting manner. I urge the request to understand and keep in mind though that families come in here with their children hoping to buy a pet or something new for their pet at PetSmart. If the same scenario happened with them like it did during my visit, that's just god awful. It's a special experience and I had that years ago when I bought my first cat in my family. Chances are this review won't be read by associates but please remember that just like you are having a bad day, you are a person at the end of the day and customers are people to with feelings just like you. It's destructive and harmful and ruins sales which is what you work for and how you attain your goals for any possible bonuses. I am not upset but I think the way the associate could've presented themself should've been more light and not so heavy. I hope for the best for this store and its associates. As long as time persists so does the chance to becoming better, we just need to change our perspective and strive towards continuous improvement. **it does suck we didn't get the fish but hey life can be unfair like that and you gotta know how to deal with it

02/06/24- We went to get parrot food. My wife is the regular shopper. I was there for the first time.The store is clean. The restrooms are clean. They have all you need for all types of pets. I walked around and I enjoyed the pets for sale.The cashier had a line to get out but it didn't stop her from smiling. She had a great attitude. I didn't get her name. I'll go back to shop for a fish.

After taking my dog here for grooming for almost 5 years, they decided they need to charge me more because he weighs 2-4 pounds more than a normal Shih Tzu. He didn't just start weighing more yesterday! But, they decided they needed to charge me extra. I'm taking him somewhere else even if it's more expensive just because this seems unethical to me.
