Absolute worst experience I have had when dealing with a company. Ordered a washer and dryer on Monday from Lowes and had it delivered on Wednesday. Hooked it up and the drum was loose on the washer. No big deal, that happens. So, I called to get it exchanged for a new washer. At first everything seemed fine, they scheduled someone to come out with the replacement on Friday. Friday comes around and the truck shows up, but they do not have my replacement. I talked to the driver and he recommended that they leave the washer and schedule another replacement. He called the warehouse and told me they would call within 24 hours to schedule the new date. Evening comes on Saturday and I had heard nothing. I called and explained the situation and was told that they added an urgent note to the file and we would be contacted in 24 hours. This time, I confirmed that they were open on the weekend, so it would be sometime on Sunday. Sunday evening comes and nothing. I call again and get a similar answer. So, I call the local store that we ordered from. They try to help, but they can still only tell us that we will receive a call in 24 hours. Here I am Monday night without a call, so I reach out again. After 2.5 hours on hold, the line hangs up on me and I am still left with a broken dryer sitting in the middle of my house. Absolutely no accountability within this organization and I extremely dissatisfied with my experience.

Do not bother shopping at lowes at the lafayette indiana store. Nobody wants to help you. Rude staff when you finally force them to help by hitting the help button. Then only to find out they sell appliances, but don't actually HAVE appliances in store. Guess that's why employess don't like helping you, you can't really buy anything there. I went to buy a washer. Not picky, LG, Samsung, whirlpool, may tag, don't care I need a washer. They did not carry a single washer in store! I was told I could have one delivered from Indianapolis later in the day then I could pick it up or have them deliver it.......so I'm paying twice for delivery or having to go in store twice. I can order it online they say, I reply Amazon already does that and much better than lowes! Guess I'm saying you're better off buying it off amazon than dealing with rude people and rude companies. Imagine going to grocery store and trying to buy food only to hear, no you can pick it out, but we don't really have any here.

Beware of using any prepaid credit cards at this location. A female cashier tricked my mother into saying the card was declined and “helping her” set up a pin on a prepaid card and still not ringing the purchase up. Well she then proceeded to take the info and spend $30 on mobile games. There were no transactions prior until right after they left. We logged in online and saw transactions for mobile game “Pub G” very soon after leaving the store… Untrustworthy bottom feeder cashiers. 0/5 Would not trust or shop at this location if these are the people they hire handling your money.

Through the Lowes website we recently bought a new GE-brand gas range (with the necessary extras including a hose and LP conversion kit) and arranged to have it delivered and installed. Long story short: it turned into a dangerous, expensive, and time-consuming ordeal.
The two young guys who brought the unit and did the installation seemed to be delivery people with very little appliance expertise. After installation, we started noticing odd smells from the unit and usually high flames both from the burners and inside the oven, so we called Lowes for service. Lowes directed us to call our local GE-approved appliance repair company for warranty service, so we scheduled a technician to come check it out.
The technician found that the installers hadn't attached the range properly and it was leaking LP gas into our home. Not only had they apparently forced the hose onto the unit without threading it properly, they also applied no sealant to prevent leakage. The tech also said they hadn't done anything with the conversion kit, which was untouched and still hanging in its little plastic bag taped to the back of the unit. The tech was willing to install the conversion kit, but said the labor would be $180.
After calling Lowes and being shuffled through four different departments we finally got in touch with someone who said they wouldn't do anything because we hadn't complained quickly enough and there was no evidence of fault. After pointing out that we had a GE-approved technician who would affirm that it had been mis-installed and had been leaking, they grudgingly took it up with the installers (Diakon Logistics).
Diakon took a week to consider, then denied our request for them to pay for the corrective work on the grounds that Lowes hadn't told them that they needed to install the included LP conversion kit, and that they had no evidence that the installers were negligent. (The issue of letting dangerous gas leak into our home was apparently so unimportant that it didn't merit any consideration.) Lowes simply passes the buck back, saying the installation was Daikon's responsibility and not theirs. So... we're stuck in between, footing the bill for properly setting up a range that we already paid once to have properly set up.
Lessons learned: appliances bought from Lowes may not be installed by people who know what they're doing, and if anything goes wrong you're on the hook for it yourself. ☹
