I’ve been shopping here for years, off and on, making it a habit to try and browse all three vintage shops in the immediate area whenever I make it that way. I’ve not found a ton in the times I’ve stopped in, but I’ve definitely spent some money here, and it’s consistently been headed downhill for awhile.I brought a friend along a couple of weeks ago that had never been in before, and he leaned over to look at a plant on a shelf right inside the front door only to (literally) be screamed at “dOnT bOTheR mY pLaNTs!!!” by the lady behind the desk. My friend responded politely, telling her that he had just been looking to see if it had a tag and was for sale, and she was incredibly rude to him yet again, replying in a condescending tone as if she were talking to a toddler, something along the lines of “plants are dELiCatE sweetie, and obviously they aren’t for sale, so keep your hands off them”.Like, it’s a secondhand store. Most things in secondhand stores are for sale. I was appalled and embarrassed to have brought a friend with me for him to be treated that way.The rest of our visit was unremarkable. We didn’t find anything, but it was very uncomfortable having to walk past her at the counter as we left, as she didn’t say another word to us at all. No thanks for coming in, bye, nothing. Didn’t even look up from her book to acknowledge that we were walking out the door. We felt very unwelcome.Their selection nowadays is about as stale as their mildewy air, as they hardly get in anything new anymore. I haven’t noticed any significant change in merchandise in several years. It feels more like an indoor garage sale now than a retail space, and a dimly lit one, at that.Think: goodwill leftovers. Don’t waste your time.

When I visit Lafayette, I typically stop here to check out the possibility for treasures. I have found great, quality furniture, jewelry, nostalgia pieces, and holiday decor. If you have time to browse, you can almost always leave with a bargain!

Such a cute spot! Truly a pleasure to take your time and walk the aisles. Mostly home decor, kitchen supplies; some furniture and clothing. Reasonable prices. Clean, organized and friendly customer service.

Such a cute store, filled with lots of antiques and vintage items. I wasn't looking for anything in particular but I ended up with a picture frame, an Indiana-themed cookbook, and a mug from the local Dog n' Suds restaurant. It was my first visit to Lafayette and we had just eaten there right before the store so it was an awesomely coincidental souvenir. The lady working the checkout counter (I think she was the owner) was super friendly. The roads all around them are under construction so it took us a few tries to get in to the parking lot. She was staging a tableau of items to sell on Facebook live, I thought that was a pretty cool way to combat the reduced sales. They are on Instagram also.

While in Lafayette today, My Young Beautiful Bride and I visited some antique shops. We have been here before and have found items that we just couldn't live without ❤️.Very well organized and very friendly people who are eager to help you with any questions you may have.We don't get to Lafayette as often as we would like but when we do, we will definitely be visiting this place again.

Good little antique shop. Not as large as the neighboring place but equally as nice. Very kind staff. Definitely stop in!

Cute place. Clean, organized and well laid out for it's small size. The owners seemed very nice and helpful. If you're looking to pick up some nostalgia, this might be the place. The prices on most things seemed pretty reasonable as well.
