I had quite the experience in the Laf beauty shop! I ended up passing out in the chair I also needed a change of clothing which Karis and others took care of! So thoughtful! I have passed out before! Karis is my hair dresser and took such good care! She sent someone in the store to get me something dry to put on! When I woke up there were 4 EMTS standing there! She is such a sweet, caring person as we’re all the girls! I just would love to see or hear of them getting recognized for going that extra mile for me and would do for anyone! Karis is a great stylist also and just always so kind and helpful! You have a gem in her! Thanks to all!. Polly Windell

I went to inquire about wait times for a walk-in needing a trim. I wasn't greeted for around eight minutes but I wasn't super concerned as all the stylists seemed to be with clients. A stylist came by then to find a product, while muttering "Jesus Christ" under her breath. I'd say maybe she didn't know I was there, but it happened twice before she asked me "Do you have an appointment?" "No, I was wondering about the wait time for a haircut." She said "Um..." and never did respond again. There were two or three more minutes I stood there feeling VERY awkward and wondering if I should pester the stylist with my question again. As she walked away again I assumed they must be too busy for walk-ins at the time but having my question promptly acknowledged in some way would have been helpful and saved me a bit of time this morning.

Great beauticians if you know what you want! Very impressed with them even if my stylist is off on maternity leave. I'm getting old so I forgot the gals name who did my highlights and haircut. She was Awesome! Its always a win win here. You just have to communicate with them. 20 years never had an issue!

I used to love Jc Penny. Afterall, they were the first ones to listen to me and do the “weird hairstyle” no one else would. But after this latest experience, I had my worse ever haircut. It seemed okay at first but then some parts were curled, other straight, and there were three different lengths. I ended up needing to spend $20 for another stylist to fix me as this salon was an hour and a half away from me. Even the stylist who fixed it was ranting on how it should have been done.Services: Perms

They're hit or miss sometimes the stylist is spot on and others you need a touch up.

Somehow always get someone new and they do a bad job. Would be great if a senior stylist could check their work before sending clients out into the world with bad haircuts

Love paying over a hundred dollars only to get something I could of done at home for $12. I asked for a touch up. To have my money pieces and face framing pieces that were already blonde to be moved up and touched up.. and for my all over color just to be darker. Left with my money pieces orange and brassy and some other pieces overtoned and purpley. And she dyed my face framing blonde pieces back to dark brown. (Not what I wanted) and Not only did she get done and decide that looked good and sent me on my way. There was no care taken to my hair at all. She used no styling product and didn't offer to style it before I left or anything. It felt like she was in a hurry and just wanted me out. I have gone here for many years. Anyone else I have gone to here has done awesome and really took the time to care about my hair. I went home and re bleached it and toned it myself.

Went for wash & conditioner waited 30 minutes & the beautician still we working on the same customer. My appointment was for 1pm & at 1:30 pm the beautician still with the same customer told the associate tire of waiting & walk out. ??

My sister and I went to get our hair cut and colored and to say we walked out very please would be such an understatement. Amanda did absolutely amazing! She did not make us feel like a bother. She was patient and very kind. There was zero awkward silences! It took 6 hours for both of us and she did excellent with absolutely everything. Our self-care day was so relaxing! We will both definitely be back soon! Absolutely loved everything about our service!Services: Balayage

If I could only give a ZERO STAR! This business allows corporate attacks on smaller business they feel are a threat. I was appalled that the management allowed an incident with one of their stylists where she harassed and terrorized another hair salon within the mall. I was witness to this attack. It absolutely felt like a staged attack from JCPenny Salon my perspective. JCPenny, you should be ashamed! I hope the proper charges are filed against you!

Took my 5 year old to get his hair cut. Gracie did wonderfully! He was squirming all over the place, I tried all the bribes to get him to sit still but Gracie handled him so well and was so patient! His hair looks better than ever and we will be going back to her regularly. We highly recommend Gracie (she does fantastic with adults too)! Thank you Miss Grace!Service: Haircut
