I had a provider fall asleep during an office visit.
They tried to cover this event up.
The hospital did nothing about it.
they even sent insurance a bill for the visit.
Have requested that the medical records for that day be updated with the correct information.

I sat in the waiting room for over 2 hours waiting to make sure me and my child in my stomach are okay after being transferred from another hospital, they are very slow and they just have a lot of people that just stand around and talk

The ER needs to offer getting negative numbers. The way they treat minorities in this place needs to be investigated. They put me in the hallway and said they didn't have any rooms available. Yet everytime a caucasian person came back they gave them a room. Also you can clearly see from their test I'm passing several kidney stones at once and had blood in my urine. Yet they sent me home in so much pain and being nauseous.Barely able to walk because of the pain. And because I didn't agree with the ER doctor and told her I was in so much pain to the point I was balling. She didn't care and called security on me and a social worker on me. The nurse told the security officers that I didn't do anything wrong. I told the security officers... you see I have a witness from their own staff that I did nothing wrong except be in pain and not feeling good. This is the way I'm treated everytime I go. And other minorities say they're treated the same way. Even when it is Crohns acting up and I'm throwing up blood and clearly sick. They run the test and the test say in the mychart that I'm sick and they come in and say there's nothing wrong and send me home suffering. The ER doctors tell you that you need to see your doctors and not to come their to replace them. Clearly if you look in the mychart I see my doctors and they send me there. The ER doctors treat you based on how another ER doctor liked/disliked you... not based on the results. So you can't get the care you need in THIS ER. They will read this and pass the buck back to me or any other patient that wrote this review because in their eyes they can do no wrong and the ER doctors have a God complex. Don't take my word for it just look up how other MINORITIES say they're treated here!!!

Absolutely worst ER I have ever been to in my life. Have been here since 9 30pm with a suspected heart attack for my mother and we just now ( almost 2 and a half hours later) received a room. Still have yet to be check out or literally anything other then the entry process. Not to mention upon arrival the desk ladies were too busy chatting and messing around to pay attention to incoming patients. Took 10 minutes alone for them to acknowledge us. While waiting I checked in multiple times explaining my mother's numbess and pain were getting worse just to a recive a short ok and nothing else. It wasn't until I got frustrated that they in turn became snarky with me about not having beds for patients at that time. My mother is the only parent in my household rasing my brother and I so to lose her over this would be devastating on a multitude of levels and the safe seemed to not care at all. No matter how much is spoke to people or complained not a single person bothered to say anything other then ok and attitude. If you have an emergency you are better of either dealing with it at home or driving elsewhere. Don't take your family here ever.

I'm from Southern California and this hospital beats them all. Another reason why I'm staying here.

This is for the starbucks in the hospital. They seemed to have a tenuous grap of how to run the register. Then had no venti or trenta cups. No thanks I need more than a sip of coffee that's overpriced even for starbucks because they have a captive consumer base.

Despite the competence of the doctors, the care provided by the nurses after my mother’s surgery was disappointing. The nurses seemed unaware of the doctor’s instructions, and their management of her care was disorganized. Additionally, their lack of basic courtesy and rudeness made the experience even more distressing. A single bad influence can tarnish the entire group

Went to the ER this week everything went well until the nurse came to take out my iv his name was Zack he dropped gloves on the floor before touching my open wound with those same gloves and gaze pad was also contaminated from dirty gloves. When asked what the purpose of the gloves was he sarcastically responded that it was only for his safety. I am early in my pregnancy and don't like how my and my unborn child's safety was chanced all because he was too lazy to get a clean pair of gloves. Now I'm considering if I should even give birth in this hospital if this is common practice.

Lackadaisical and unprofessional across the board. If you or your loved ones want to be treated with care and a sense of urgency, choose a different facility.
I wouldn’t trust these people to put a band aid on my scraped knee after seeing what kind of “care” they provided to my wife.
Absolute disgrace to the entire medical profession. You should all be ashamed of your selves.

genuinely the best place to have a baby. had the absolutely best team ever, INCREDIBLY caring staff who went above and beyond. i had a c section and i was terrified. nurse completely understood and i hugged her and sobbed, the whole team comforted me. such a scary moment turned into laughing and happiness even though my baby was born 27 weeks. nicu team that has been taking care of my daughter, i adore every single one of them. most loving and caring people to exist. will never forget about my experience ! recently came back to this hospital for the emergency room, had the best experience here too. they took care of me so much better than the last place i was at and was incredibly sweet. this hospital will always be my first pick, thank you for all the staff here !! always will be my first pick when i need medical assistance

My niece had her surgery at IU Health. I was skeptical of her having a major surgery at a surgical center versus a hospital, but all went well! Her nurse, Kennedy, was just AWESOME!!! ✨️?????? She was very caring and nice, and her bedside manner was great! My only complaint was that there wasn't a cafeteria, just vending machines.

This was my second stay at this hospital in 2 months. I have never been to a hospital that I felt like I was important to the doctors and nurses. This hospital made me comfortable and made sure that all my health needs were met before I got discharged. I recommend this place to anyone looking for great doctors, nurses, and even food for their hospital stay.. Thank you so much IU HEALTH ARNETT!!

I recently visited the ER where I was then admitted to the hospital for a few days. Every nurse, tech and doctor that I had while being there were so so kind and gave me wonderful care. You could tell they weren’t just there to do a “job” that they truly cared about their patients. I am so thankful for all of you and all that you do! IU Health Arnett, you have an amazing care team working in your hospital. ❤️ Thank you again!
