“The Lafayette Doubletree hotel ,What a great find . Rooms were large ,clean and very well appointed . All of the staff were friendly, and they went out of their way to accommodate us. The food service was great and the bar downstairs was a welcome relief after a hard days work. We felt the room rates were very competitive compared to the other hotels in the area. Being from Florida we especially appreciated the Aux heaters in the bathrooms. We know now to bring a bathing suit for our next stay, as all the folks in the pool seemed to be having a grand time! What a great find and we look forward to our next stay and highly recommend this hotel..”

“Wonderful place, especially after a long day of traveling. Room was impeccably clean, staff was great. Close to I-65, with plenty of options within minutes for food. Can't recommend highly enough.”

“Read this before making a reservation (It could be the cheapest option in the area, but it is not worth it). I had a terrible experience on Dec 2023. I made a reservation for a room with two double beds for four people for my family. When we arrived, we noticed that the beds were extremely small for two people (thin people), so I had to stay with a friend in Lafayette and leave my other three relatives sleeping in the two beds. Because of that, I decided to change the reservation to two nights instead of four and at the beggining they refused to make the change and give me a refund because they said that I had to contact Booking. I called Booking explaining the situation, the representative was very friendly and understood the situation, in order to make the change they only needed approval from the front desk to cancel the reservation. However, the hotel worker was refusing to approve the change in the reservation, and I had to talk with the manager. They did not refund the full amount the Booking representative told me I would receive because the hotel decided to change the rate per night if I decided to modify the reservation which is absurd. In addition, during check out (which took me about 2h between calls with Booking and the manager), I saw another guest at the front desk complaining about the rates the hotel gave him initially, which were totally different than what he had to pay and requesting to speak with the manager.Avoid at all cost!”

“Decent quality stay. (Note: pictures are from after an overnight stay). Paid about $170 with some other fees on top for a single king bedroom. The bed was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was stocked with some complimentary soaps and lotions (though the shampoo was out). The room smelled clean, but the doors felt like they didn't dampen sound very well. I could hear doors slam outside my room all the time. Breakfast is served from 6-10 am, and the quality is adequate. It's got a good variety, but the taste was nothing special - waffles, yogurt, juices, coffee, bagels, English muffins, French toast, sausage, eggs, Oatmeal, cereal, candy bars. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but it felt like it could've been better.”

“Room was a good size and clean with one exception (see below). Only saw one member of staff at the front desk when I checked in, one member of staff at breakfast, and one member of staff when I checked out. All 3 where nice and no complaints about them. My only concern is that the air conditioner filter in my room (415) was f-ing disguting. It was so nasty and looked like it hadn't been changed in over a year. Thank goodness the weather was cold so i didn't have to turn the a/c on. It was filthy. Why the hell do hotels charge so much for a room and can't even change a freaking filter every few months.”

“I am surprised the room was fairly big for the money, the room are clean I check all the beds for bed buds and they all clean, there was few stain but nothing out off ordinary, there really isn't any service even the front desk there's nobody there until you ring the bell, room cleaning is on demand but the cleaning lady was friendly, Continental breakfast included but as mostly self service just cereals, commercial eggs ,one meat and a waffle maker which you make it yourself.”

“Lots of reviews mention smells etc. Yeah the room had a funk to it, for the money were we expecting the Waldorf Astoria? It was dated, we knew that going in. We didn't find any used needles, or condoms laying around. There were no bedbugs. No one got shot so all in all value for money .”
