Absolutely horrible experience. Branch manager John refuses to answer any calls. I've called that place atleast 5 times today. I was told yesterday I was gonna get a call back to replace this defective electrical vehicle. I'm spending $40 to charge this thing an only getting g 165 on full charge. Clearly this car needs work or something. But I can't get them to call me back about replacing it. And I can't get them to answer the phone either. I will be filling a complaint with bbb an returning this vehicle asap. AVIS will be getting business moving forward.

Jacob earned me as a lifetime Hertz customer for as long as he is working there! I’ll be choosing Hertz first! He’s a straight shooter that will provide good customer service. However, he went above & beyond in my awkward electric vehicle fiasco, I sincerely appreciate you and look forward to working with you in the future. P.S. beware the manager special is more than likely an electric car! Not good for 7+ hr drives!

Hertz in Lafayette has accommodated me ongoing since March, when my Tesla was hit. The employees here are respectful, efficient, and they will bend over backwards for customers. They’ve continuously helped me with a rental through insurance and I can’t thank them enough. Repairs have been a nightmare and I can count on them for a Tesla anytime I need. I will return to Hertz in Lafayette for any rentals in future, whether it be through insurance or not.

I think two times I did go here and they had one individual who did help me with all the knowledge and the best service.In winter, the agent updated the sedan without me asking for it, because of the road and I could see the genuine care for customer from the agent.And also just recently an agent helped me for finding deals and planned accordingly for assisting us better.I would expect easy reach out to the branch by phone and the main hertz branch to have something better for the communications.

Please check their car registration before starting your journey. They provided me with a car with an expired car registration. I tried calling them to resolve the issue in the middle of the trip. The call got through after trying multiple times. I had to abandon my trip in between because of the expired car registration, and my friend missed the flight. I returned the car immediately with a full fuel tank and expected a refund for the car's base price, but the branch manager declined. I expected more friendly behavior from the branch manager. Instead of being adamant that it's not their fault, they should have tried to see their mistake and thought from the customer's perspective. Should I track whether Hertz is registering their car correctly or the branch manager?

Booked rental at least two weeks prior maybe more. Customer service agent claims only thing available is electric. Planning a cross country trip over the span of two weeks , sure I have all the time to stop and charge. Refused rental they could care less ! Stay away or drive your own car !

Insanely disappointed, we had our rental booked out three weeks ahead of time and got there today to find out they didn't have anything besides electric cars. We were never informed that was our only option until today, they didn't try to make anything work for us or offer us an apology. We're going on a two week cross country trip we don't have the time to stop and charge a car. Very unhappy, will not be returning.

I was charged twice on my card because the company stated I hadn’t brought it back on time (I did). After many many phone calls, we finally got it resolved. I never did get through to the actual location so they could verify the car was there. Hertz sent me an email with a survey and asked if I wanted to be contacted about my experience. I said yes.They said they would contact me within 72 hours. It’s been 3 weeks. We won’t be renting from Hertz again.

This hertz location, it's staff and management should be the model for all hertz locations to follow. They single handedley turned me around as a long time (presidents circle) hertz customer after some really unfortunate experiences at hertz indy Airport location. Kudos to Jacob Chambers for making things right. Hertz corporate-- you need to send some of your customer service trainers here to learn and spread what they learn in Lafayette to the rest of your organization.

Lots of customers in a very tight space. Took about 40 minutes to work through the line. Happy service and a car that met expectations. Would go back if the line wasn't so long.

I have never been to a car rental place and had someone be so kind and so helpful. This man stayed after hours just to help me wait for my mom to bring me money. I had many obstacles in front of me and he help me get through all of them. I wouldn’t rent a car from anywhere else again you guys are wonderful.
