Charming old world charm atmosphere. The cabbage/sausage soup was very good. My fish sandwich was dry and was served with no tartar sauce. I had to go ask for some.
When service was adequate. There is room for improvement.

Tried this place out with my spouse it was pretty decent! American food for a low cost! Definitely good for college students who may want a nice atmosphere and low prices! The food is pretty good ?? service was good as well.

The soup (cabbage & sausage) was fabulous. The person who got the chicken salad LOVED it. My grilled cheese was okay--and my friend's fish sandwich was dry. The tartar sauce helped some ...

The waiter and service were excellent-the food, not so much. Eggs Benedict had the thinnest piece of Canadian Bacon I have ever seen and the “poached” eggs were hard boiled. Epic fail!

Amazing experience all around! Great food, everything is freshly made and has great presentation. Our food was out really quickly and tasted great! I loved being able to walk around the house and have a self guided tour (scan the QR code at the front). Being able to see the places' history is something you won't likely see anywhere else.Great place for a date or to bring relatives from out of town. Then you can swing by the art museum that is RIGHT next door.

The food was not good. I had fish and chips and my wife had chicken tinders. The fish and chicken were fried so hard we couldn't eat it. Our son had smothered chicken and it was fair. After we placed our orders, it took over 35 minutes before the food arrived. We ordered Chardonnay and was served a riesling. When we complained, we were told that they were out of Chardonnay but never told us. I don't think we will return.

This old home has been remodeled and is a great place to go for Sunday brunch. You are allowed to walk through the house and the grounds. The food was delicious. I am looking forward to going back.

All the food was ok. Scrabbled eggs a little overcooked. I've had way better sausage biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were great, but wasn't impressed with the gravy. I recommend Pioneer gravy and add fried sausage with sage and not other fancy seasonings. The servers need to check back so we could have coffee refills. We will come back.

We went to the Fowler House for Father’s Day Brunch. Did not know ahead that the menu was going to be limited. It seems their website is now updated with a Sunday brunch menu, since reservations were made. The food was mediocre or less as was the service. Not the worst experience but it was a one and done visit. We will not be repeat customers and not a venue that I could recommend. Disappointing.

Great ambience. Michael, the General Manager, is excellent. Sat outside and enjoyed a wonderful meal. The mansion alone is worth the visit.

I recently lunched at Fowler House Kitchen with two friends. We had hoped to eat on the patio, but it had rained and threatened to rain again. I'm going to be honest about the ambiance of the main dining room. It is hard to maintain a conversation even at one of the small tables. The ceiling is high; there is no carpet or window treatments. The look of this area is gothic with very dark period woodwork. There is no special lighting that makes for a softer appearance. Service was acceptable. The only lapse was that I asked for salad dressing on the side and the salad came dressed. I didn't send it back because the amount of dressing in the salad was how I would have done it myself. The luncheon prices are comparable to other establishments of this kind. I would return for another meal. It is a picturesque setting for a meal, especially on the patio.

Lovely old building but terrible service and poor quality food. Would definitely not recommend The Fowler House.
