Family Express is known for tasty food and friendly service as a family owned and operated chain. The store is nice and the place looks clean. Service can be very friendly and helpful, making a real difference. However, the store is not what it used to be. The food is inconsistent; the breakfast pizza is a hit or miss, sometimes cooked to perfection but other times burnt and chewy, while the breakfast burritos are terrible. The fountain drinks are not always on point, sometimes spot on but other times awful. A major issue is being checked out in a timely manner. On busy mornings, lines can reach the door while only one cashier works, as the other may be wandering the store instead of helping. Customer service should be the priority. There have also been instances where staff were not respectful to an elderly customer. They need to do a better job providing better customer service and better food.
I believe my cashier's name was Jaylyn with the ponytail, came in Saturday evening for gas and candy and she was so sweet and helpful, it really makes a difference 🤍

The pizza is pretty good and less than $13 for a large 2 topping pie.
