Nick was our salesman and he was professional, patient and very helpful. We've purchased multiple vehicles from this dealership. The great customer service keeps us returning.

Just bought a RAM 3500 diesel Tradesman there.
The whole process was smooth and friendly.
Sean showed a lot of care and attention and was very helpful.
This dealer is a bit old fashioned, but everything is based on mutual respect, what we really appreciate.
I definitely recommend this dealer.

I've heard from multiple sources that this dealership / shop are better than anyone else in the area. Unfortunately, this is not the case with the repairs that needed to be done on my daughters Jeep. They claimed the reason it died was because of the fuse array (which when asked they stated they have only changed 2 in 10 years) after she picked it up, it died again - and she wasn't 2 miles down the road!! After inspecting it again, they stated the problem was the power steering pump - that it was causing fuses to pop - but that the fuse array was still good. When asked how can the fuse array still be good, he said something about wiring rubbing together causing the Jeep to die. And that they have changed hundreds of fuse arrays and this is the first vehicle to come back. While telling the service guy (Rick?) about how displeased I was and that after my daughters Jeep is fixed, her Jeep and mine will not be brought to that dealership because of the lies and trust issues, he hung up on me.
My daughter decided that this dealership was not going to get anymore money from us, and towed her vehicle to another shop for a second opinion.
The second shop said the fuse array was indeed blown, the power steering pump is good, the auxiliary battery is dead, and the wiring to the auxiliary battery needs replaced.
I was told once that my perception is a dealerships reality, at this point, my perception of this dealership is extremely low.

Nick made this transaction very smooth, got my daughter a new to her vehicle- she can’t wait to drive it!! Nick, thanks for working with me to get the check engine fixed and part of the sale and for the communication on your day off- she was anxious! I recommend if your looking for a new or used vehicle to go see Nick- he’s not pushy and will work to get you what you want! He also checked all the tire pressure before we left- sometimes it’s the little things that make all the difference.

First time experience with a service repair at this facility. First impression from service advisor was impressive but after having my vehicle for almost 2 full days without communication from him was a little stressful. Several attempts to speak to service adviser failed from leaving voice message with no return calls and being put on hold for 15 minutes and no pick up to screening my calls and straight to voice message. All i wanted is an update on my vehicle....that's all! I had to go a different direction thru operator requesting operations manager then finally transfered to service manager rather than ops manager, just to get status on my vehicle. Not a pleasant feeling and during that time I lost total trust and confidence in service dept ability. In the end, finally speaking to service manager, I was informed of diagnosis and when my truck would be ready. It didn't matter to me how long it was going to be in shop and what was wrong, it mattered to be informed. A small thing like not speaking with the customer once your vehicle is in the shop, is a red flag to me. On the positive side, repairs were great. I would offer a 5 star if it wasn't for the lack of communication from this facility. Need to rethink about informing customers of their vehicle status. After all, I wasnt offered a rental and didn't have transportation. I give the tech #70 a 5 star for repair! I give service manager a 4 star for answering the call finally after requesting ops manager, I give facikty operator a 5 star for recognizing my number and realizing the issue, I give the service adviser 3 stars. He also forgot to give me my extended warranty booklet. Another trip back and an inconvenience! Hopefully, next experience will be more positive. Due to the great repair and accurate diagnosis by tech, I plan to return.

Zero stars. they talked about one price and billed for another. check the documents before signing. They do not have the law to sell cars because they do not have a title. I received at least some documents for registration after 65 days of waiting.

Nick Crum did a fantastic job getting me the exact truck I wanted at the best possible price. They were willing to work in a few extras to sweeten the deal even more. After some bad luck with dealers and other brand of vehicles, these guys turned my luck around and couldn’t be more happy with the deal. Great people working hard for their customers…..hard to find that these days. Ron got me a huge warranty at a great price also to help cover my 60,000 miles a year. Thank you again Nick and the crew at La Porte CDJR. Will be back again.

This is the worst company we have ever delt with. The owner Matt Magnuson will not even return calls or emails. The service manager, Rick can't even get out of the way of his own lies. We took our Jeep in end of June and it is now September 16th, the issue was the battery had a parasitic draw. Now it won't even start. Their fix is to throw parts at it, to the point of the cost is more than the value of the vehicle. We haven't even seen the vehicle since it was taken there. Customer service is non existent with these people, and I now wish we would have gone to Valparaiso, Michigan City, or even Cedar Lake. It is to the point we have to get an attorney and sue the dealership, Rick Leidolf, the service manager and the owner Matt Magnuson, personally. Will update as this issue continues, good or bad.

I wanted to say with my own experience they was very nice and worked very hard on getting our deal done and we all ironed everything out. Everything worked perfect and we made a good deal and I just wanna say I appreciate everybody that works there at this dealership and always remember, they will always try to work with you and get your deal. Thank you.

The staff (especially Sean, Nick, Ron and Deb) were very professional, helpful and quick to answer questions . I looked around a bit at different dealers before we made a decision on a Wagoneer through them and they beat the “other guys” price on an almost identical vehicle by around $400/mo.
LOVE my new vehicle and am very happy.

This was the best experience I've ever had in trading and buying a new car. Marla was professional, honest, friendly and straightforward. She listened, explained and answered all my questions. Things were done in a timely fashion. She did not try to sell me any vehicle just to make a sell. Financing with Ron was just as smooth. I'm very happy with my buy and highly recommend anyone the market of getting a new vehicle, go to LCDJR dealership. I'm in my first jeep and love it.
