Dr Pals and the staff at Laporte Animal hospital are amazing. I find them to be very compassionate , easy to talk to, knowledgeable, accommodating and very gentle and kind when handling animals. It’s obvious they all love animals and what they’re doing. I highly recommend this practice and Dr Pals.

They killed my friends cat so he had a urinary blockage they didn’t do no labs didn’t give him no pain medicine or anti-inflammatory or antibiotics they didn’t give her any straight answers on what’s going on with her cat and he was in the care for multiple days !! And she expressed her concern for her cat multiple times and they treated it like it was whatever and on top of it due to negligence the old lady vet tech ripped his urethra if she wasn’t forceful and gave him anti inflammatory his urethra wouldn’t have been ripped . They are also rude besides Aimee she was very helpful anyway my friend had went to a different vet and they did labs and turns out he a raging uti he was septic they found a bunch of stuff threw the lads which these people didn’t do and they were able to give my friend the answers she needed to make her decision because Laporte animal hospital basically was not giving no other option but to put her cat down after they ripped his urethra do to negligence also Laporte animal hospital couldn’t give him the care he needed they knew his condition was critical but like I said they treated it like it was nothing they should have told her and pointed her into the right direction of a vet suited to do so , so now her cats brother is depressed my friend is so so so so upset due to having to put her cat down due to the horrible care and dishonesty of Laporte animal hospital and her cat would most likely be alive right now so thank you Aimee for your help and they rest of you need to find a job better suited for you because this ain’t it .!

The staff at LaPiorte Animal Hospital were friendly, and informative. The assistant saw me almost immediately and I only waited approximately 3 min for the veterinarian to come into the exam room. Her exam was thorough and quick. We were in and out for our annual exam in 20 minutes which also included vaccinations and blood work. I was extremely happy as usually with the care of my dog.

My Cat had gotten sick and we took him to LaPorte Animal Hospital. I felt welcomed right away. The ladies there were all great and very caring. The vet doctor was just as amazing. She took her time to talk to me and answer all my questions . I didn't feel rushed at all. Sadly, our poor Charley didn't make it . We got a new kitten and just took her in for her shots. When we first got there we were told how sorry they were about Charley. They only met him one time, but they made me feel like they have known him for a while. I am happy to say we chose this animal Hospital, and I know the newest addition to our family, Capone, is in trusted hands !

I have been going to La Porte Animal Hospital for more the 45 years. Since the take over with the Porter County Veterinary Service and Dr. Weitzel it's gone downhill. Most recently all I was trying to do is get approval for my 15 year old cat's pharmacy order from Chewy. It took 19 days, 4 phone calls and a promise to call me within 24 hours, still nothing after bring told they would take care of it immediately. Lately, the staff there don't seem to follow through at all. The great staff at Chewy, who stayed on hold with them for more than10 minutes while I waited, finally got approval. I am still waiting for a call back from Dr. Weitzel to date but no one has called. Very unprofessional. I am a very unhappy customer!!!

Love this facility and staff. From the moment that my dog needed emergent surgery, my other dog injuring his back, to just vaccines and nail trims. They have been so kind and sincere. I wouldn't take my pups anywhere else.

I have been using the services of the LaPorte Animal Hospital for over 15 years. I've been thru the transition in ownership. Seemless? Mostly. So here's my bottom line - my dog is 15 years old and as healthy as I could ask for. Pricing? Pricing was an issue during the turnover from the previous owner but seems to,be under control now. Am I happy and satisfied? You bet!!!

Terrific service, friendly staff, Doctor, he was awesome and took the time to talk to you. We had two cats fixed and rabies shots, and two dog rabies, and one dog fixed. All at once. Prices are great.
