This is my last time at Family Express thanks to Johnathan. I am sixty years old and have been going to this gas station for years to buy my nightcap. Tonight when I came in with my child, who is very visibly a MINOR, to get my drink and for them to get a donut, Johnathan demanded both of our IDs because he saw us come in together and conversing. I chuckled and said this is my child, pretty sure she won’t need her ID for a Dr. Pepper and donuts (which at the time was a separate purchase from my own), and Johnathan said that doesn’t matter, I asked you for it, don’t be rude. I said I had never been asked that before especially with my child next to me. He said “if I ask you for your ID I expect you do both give it to me. I will cancel your transaction for being rude.” I was not being rude, I simply said how it was weird for my minor and I to be ID’d for two separate transaction. He then went to tell my socially anxious child “don’t you dare glare at me, I can remove you from this establishment.” She didn’t look at him rude, she was trying to get out of an extremely uncomfortable, disrespectful situation from a very entitled, stuffy employee. Johnathan then shouted at us as we were walking out with a line of customers at the register. I will never ever be going back here as Johnathan has completely soiled every good experience with Laporte Family Express.

Horrible customer service received after I had a hole in my bag of big ice and tried to get a different one! Where out of ice for two days, I couldn't even get the I've back home was a waste of my money and to have the associate be so rude about it was the worst part, they definitely do not care about the customers there!

Nice gas station. The employees are always friendly. NO slushies were a HUGE disappointment, as I went there to get one and discovered no slushie machine.

I stopped by this family express to get a bag of ice yesterday. A nice lady named Dawn who was working said right away they were out of bags of ice. She apologized profusely and said please take some ice out of the soda area where I could get some ice. She was very nice and accommodating and her customer service skills was top notch! Please give Dawn a raise she deserves it!!

Had to use a 50 dollar bill and the lady acted so rude to me because its all I had. If you dont want 50s and 100s to be used you probably should put up a sign instead of getting snippy with customers. Theres plenty of other family express's i can go to.

Always the best price. Gas is great quality. The stores with kitchens are amazing. Get an feel perks card for discounts on fuel. The bathrooms are always clean!
