This place has absolutely everything you will need starting with a very centralized location near town near the lakes etc. our room was clean and comfortable and had many many amenities. The food at the in-house ( Timbers) restaurant/lounge was excellent. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and helpful and made us feel right at home. And all of the above in my opinion came at a very reasonable price

Too many switches of hands, it keeps changing companies and owners and it's just not as busy as it used to be it's becoming one to be compared with the super 8 all the young partiers are living here days at a time maybe week.

This a 4 story hotel and after paying for our room and getting the cards for the room we find out that NONE of the elevators are working!! The restaurant is closed so there’s no breakfast meals available, the pool is closed as well. The only decent thing about this place is that the rooms are clean. NEVER stay here!!!!!

I am here for a pool tournament with my boyfriend and when we got here our room wasn’t ready, then when we got a room it didn’t lock so they gave us a new room (never apologized) everything was going better. We got put into the bar/restaurant room for our next match and they told me I couldn’t watch two Peoria teams (where in from) play because I’m not 21. There teams in this tournament that a under 21. Never was a trying to drink. I was trying to find my team. I won’t be back to this hotel or tournament.

We made a reservation way in advance for our sons birthday. Called 2 weeks before the day and asked if their pool was running yet, they said to call closer to the party day. Called today and they now dont even remember our reservation due to they now have the hotel booked out with a more important event. So i wouldn't recommend here, they go by money instead of their word. The manager went by his "memory" instead of what he wrote down and typed on the computer as we stood at the desk. They wouldn't even offer us a room to stay in. Now we are stuck looking for a place with barely a weeks notice. Fyi, its not going well...

Rooms are outdated not clean and not very well maintained. Indoor pool was not open. Elevators, NONE worked. Computers they said were down. They had to copy my ID and credit cards, not a big fan of letting anyone copy my ID and credit card. They could not provide us with a final bill. Not what I would expect at $120.00 a night. No remote for the TV in room. I would travel on or catch some sleep in my vehicle before I would stay there again

No longer best western. Said becoming Quality Inn. We are only car in parking lot next morning. No breakfast so going out for food. Told us last night there would be breakfast. Older hotel. We've stated before and I won't stay again til Quality inn takes back over. Hot tub empty and caution tape around. Room was clean and comfortable but in room Jacuzzi left brown crud floating on the water and vent cover was on floor in bathroom.

Business travellers beware - I've stayed the laPorte area a few times in the last two years at the Hampton Inn and the new Holiday Inn across the street. As a Best Western Rewards member, I got a really good deal on the this hotel and decided to stay here for a night while on business. The hotel itself is an older, dated hotel. The gym has really old equipment, but it is a large gym for a hotel. The hotel is in need of modernization. The positive are the staff who are just great people, the amenities are good as the hotel has two restaurants and great team working the breakfast in the morning. I was given a 'business suite' by the front desk. There was nothing wrong with my room it just seemed very basic. As a business traveller I had two issues, one the room itself lacks outlets and USB jacks so I had to unplug a lamp and the alarm clock just to charge my laptop and phone. As for the connecting to the internet, it was a quite a headache as I attempted to connect several times with no luck. The front was not equipped to handle to issue and the number I was given to call, I was put in hold for an eternity. I have a late model MacBook Pro, an iPad and a Dell Laptop for work. None could connect to the internet. For the business travellers like myself until the reno at the hotel is completed, try another hotel, for now.

I love this place!!! I've been here every year for my color guard team and i've enjoyed my stay every time. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room was clean and the pool was also clean! I recommend this place! I would definitely come here every time I go to LaPorte IN!

They are under new ownership and the new owners appear to be trying very hard. The only complaints I would have as we had to ask for more towels the ice machines were broken and some of the staff seem unprofessional. The owner or manager I'm not sure which one it was went way out of her way to help and make things right definitely going to stay there again if in the area.

Great staff. Great rooms. Close to restaurants and shopping. They went above and beyond to host our event.
