I had questions about recent transactions with my checking account and my friend Julie Thode who is the Branch Manager assisted me quickly and had me on my way! My interactions with any of the staff at the bank are always a positive experience!

Horrible! Almost want to close my account. The older lady with the short hair who works at this location is so rude and has a mean attitude. I did not even finish my sentence requesting for a bank statement and she was almost not wanting to help me with my request .It’s the second time she’s acting like she is not interested in helping us. And my husband has expressed a similar experience. Almost never want to go to this LaPorte location and drive all the way to westville because they have better service.

Do not attempt to go to this bank and use the atm!!!!!!! The ATM is either broken more than it works or I just have the worst luck and about three out of every four times I go there the ATM is out of service!!!

Never go to this bank! if you need to open an account so you can get your money back they won't let you! They told me they want to build a relationship with there customer. Well how are you going to build a relationship if they won't help you!! This is the second time I have gone to this bank and the second time they have turned us away. If they would have expected me and my husband we would have been a customer for the future. I still have future checks to bring in. But no they turned business away, I don't understand, is it because me and my husband are disabled or what, I definitely feel mistreated in the worst way!

Let's address some negative comments you might find here. The change counters are not in all bank but the tellers will gladly tell you which branch has one near by. Fees are associated with all banking if you wish to not have a personal experience in a bank there are cheaper option for you but you will get tired of just being a number in time. I have banked here for 13 years and have nothing but praise for everyone that works in this specific branch. Any problem I have they are always willing to help and time I need to know the rate on a loan they are always a phone call away. You can count on the people here and would recommend 1st source to anyone.
