I can't say enough good about Waterford Place and the fantastic staff!! They took excellent care of my mother after her stroke and I would recommend them to anyone. The team is so easy to work with and have an obvious passion for doing the right thing for their patients and their families. Thank you everyone and keep up the great care!! ??

Wow, what to even say? The first night my dad was there, a nurse rolled her eyes at me. Then, another nurse swore at me. Now, working with the public, those are two things you never do, especially the cussing. No matter how heated a 'debate' becomes, never use profanity at residents or family. Ever. Never roll your eyes or pass judgment on their choice of primary care provider. My interaction with management went very well, but it should never have come to that, especially on my dad's first day. The staff is so rude, so hateful, so unprofessional. I have never given a rating this low before, but if I were to treat a customer the way my family was treated at Waterford... I wouldn't have a job. End of story. No one in my family will ever go to this place again!!!!!

They're less than 1 star! This was in 2014 but my post must have been deleted! Absolutely horrible place, it appears nice inside but, the staff are terrible. Thankfully Tri care didn't pay for my mothers stay. She was verbally abused. My mother would call my father and I almost every night crying. Definitely not worth the experience.

I am on my 4th year at the villas at Waterford the first 3 years were fine, but lately they let a woman let her dog run loose and I cannot even go out to bring my trash container in without the dog coming at me. The new activity director at the clubhouse seems way too young with no real experience to deal with us older residents.

My mom (Judy Herman) spent several weeks in rehab at Waterford Place last fall after a hospitalization, and then for the last eight months of her life this year. Our family was always warmly welcomed by staff, and I enjoyed doing activities with her. The Waterford bus driver took her to doctor appointments, which made it easy for me to just meet her at the doctor's office. The COVID restrictions kept me from visiting for months, and during that time, staff members reached out every week to report on Mom and ask if WE needed anything. I appreciated their care for the whole family. As soon as visits were allowed again, the staff did everything possible to keep us comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious, and for the months when Mom didn't have much to look forward to, she loved the meals. Staff members placed bird feeders outside of each resident's window, giving residents something else to look forward to and discuss with family. We were allowed to remain in Mom's room around the clock for the two days before she died, and MANY staff members came by to talk to her in her sleep or caress her face or tell us that they had prayed daily with Mom. They also comforted the family and treated Mom's body with respect after she passed away. The nurses and physical therapy staff were excellent, especially with her wound care. I highly recommend Waterford Place to anyone looking for complete physical, emotional, and spiritual care for their loved one.

My mother spent the last six months of her life at Waterford Place. It was a gift from God that we found such a place. When you walk inside the facility, you would never know that you are in a nursing home.It doesn't have the smell of illness, everything is clean, and it seems more like a hotel.Everyone I dealt with was wonderful. The food is wonderful.During my mother's last few days, the management and staff went out of their way to accommodate me, so that I could stay with her, treating me as a special guest.I can't say enough about how kind everyone at Waterford Place is.

It's ok if you don't mind your Mom falling and breaking her hip and nobody knows nothing about it. She was supposed to be watched and in dining room. Took her to hospital and we're now in a different facility. Also she got ringworm while she was there. She did not go in there with that. My mother went to this facility because of a stroke and was in rehab. Now she is in another rehab to recover from a fractured hip. Not one person from there asked how she was while in hospital. And no one seemed to know what was going on with her from day to day. Had to do alot of inquiring.
