The pharmacy is ALWAYS closed every time I have a chance to go there!! I work very long hours. My day starts at 5am and doesn't usually end until after 8pm Mon-Fri!! This is the 3rd time in a row I've needed my prescription filled and now I just got a new prescription for a steroid my Dr just called in and the pharmacy is closed! Waste of my time and gas for the last time. I'll use someplace else from now on.

If you like a hassle any time you're trying to refill a prescription, this is the pharmacy for you. Meds out of stock? You bet, at least 50% of the time. Call to refill a prescription 5 mins after open? That'll be a six hour wait. Not to mention, if you're prescribed a controlled substance, and you just to happen to have had multiple prescribers in the past, you'll need to constantly make sure they're only filling scripts from your current provider, because it seems as though they don't really read, they just click buttons, and if they screw up (Spoiler, they will), your doc might accuse you of being a junky after he gets a phone call from the DEA. 0/10, would not recommend. Go anywhere else.

Definitely not interested in customer service just in making excuses about why it takes 5 hours to fill prescriptions. I have to go to Walgreens because of the insurance I have through my employer. I guess because I can't go elsewhere Walgreens doesn't feel like they need to provide quality customer service. This is the Walgreens at 3608 South Lafountain in Kokomo. I will be seeing if their are other locations that actually provide customer service. To top it off after I told the tech I was going out of town and needed my prescriptions she basically said too bad, we're going to lunch and we have other customers to take care of...then says in a cocky manner "have a nice trip." Hard to do without your prescribed medications.

I am a frequent customer of the LaFountain/Southway location. This location consistently maintains a high volume of customers no matter the time of day. I had the most pleasant experience with a pharmacy tech, Asya, who remains kind and provides excellent service despite the busy demands of customer volume. She went the extra mile to help me fill my prescription- something she didn’t necessarily have to do.

Walgreens always,has,sales. They have good photo lab. My daughter loves there deals on make up.
