I, personally, have never been treated poorly by any person working at this Dollar General Store. I do agree with shelves being low on product and messy isles. Having said that, many times there is only one employee. What would you have them do first? Wait on you, stock shelves, clean isles? Which one? If there is blame to be put, lay it at the feet of the corporation, not the minimum wage or close to minimum wage employees. This store actually has to close, to stock shelves. They put a sign on the door, "Stocking shelves". Why? Personnel shortage. Give these employees a break. Great them with a smile and patience. Make their day a little better by being less frustrated and more patient. Lay blame where blame is do, and it's not with the them. To all Dollar General employees...God bless you for putting up with what you have to, and still coming to work. I appreciate all you do.

One of the female cashiers was very rude to my 5 year old son for no reason other than he wanted to ring the little bell once. I will not be returning to this store ever again.

The thicker girl with red hair and glasses is so over the top rude I will never return to this location again, I asked if she was working behind the counter and she literally yelled at me that she wasn’t then proceeded to check me out. I’ve never been so uncomfortable in my whole life.

Do not try to coupon at this store, staffing is ridiculous, unknowledgable, and the manager is unavailable. The store is nasty, unorganized, items stocked on shelves incorrectly, product out of stock or unavailable. Staffed extremely well, yet service is pathetic, staff gossiping behind shelves, eating and drinking, and not attending to customers. The floors are so dirty my shoes literally came off my feet due to uncleaned spills in the aisles. Overall, one of the worst Dollar General in Starke County. Need to replace all staff and management. Disgraceful!

Best cleanest store in town I was shocked when I walked in thinking just another messy store but no wow it was so organized and clean I was amazed good job to who ever run this store they need to be recognized for their store and hard work because I’ve been in some before and they are all junk messy

Had a bad experience yesterday. Store crowded. Long line with a woman at only cash register having issues.. The other cashier said she was shutting down and then the other girl follows her out to take a break although there are ten people in line. Ridiculous. You don’t take a break when busy and only one cashier. Then the other girl who acts like she is 12 years old turns her back on me and starts bad mouthing me to the one who came back from break. How rude and unprofessional. I spoke up and said someone needs to open a register. Get dirty looks by both. I spend a fortune in there daily but I won’t now. I am done. Waited 15 minutes to check out and guy behind me said why he never goes in there. To nutty. Always a mess and hard to get down the aisles. Going to go under. Erases all bad comments. Hope corporate sees this. Bad.

Seems like nothing gets done around the store. Employees seem nice enough, there’s just not enough of them. Customers never wear masks and don’t follow any COVID-19 regulations whatsoever! Very cluttered store. Just feel bad for employees.

I’ve been using this store for many years and can say things are improving drastically.it’s cleaning up and the staff is polite and respectful Even some are masked and with my health that makes this my store again

Great store. i always enjoy going there, the staff is friendly and easy to talk to. and always eager to help you find what you need, cause sometimes things get moved, aside from that my fav DG is the one on main st in particular. it's the best one in knox, they are just way more nicer to you
