I cannot say enough good things about this business. My sister and I were in town to pick up her new puppy from a breeder in the area. We drove in from Chicago. 15 mins from our destination, my car started to clunk. I thought it might’ve been a flat tire—but upon inspection the tire was fine. We picked up my sister’s dog, and drove just a short distance to Smith Automotive Center. When I got there, I explained the sounds that were coming from my car. The owner could tell I was somewhat panicked. I was a long way from home with a new puppy and didn’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t get my car fixed. Even though they were closed, the owner and his son took it upon themselves to take a look. They quickly identified the issue—it was a bolt that had fallen off my Caliper. They didn’t have the bolt in their inventory. So the owner’s son went to 4 different stores in town to find one. I cannot begin to explain the kindness they showed us. Their unprecedented willingness to go the extra mile was so very amazing. I can say, without a doubt, if you’re ever in need of auto service, to visit this establishment. It’s the embodiment of quality and professionalism.
